Vanity: Trump, the world's most patient chess player.

Posted on 01/10/2018 10:45:46 AM PST by MNDude

I am in awe of the patients and the self-restraint that President Trump has shown in the past year. Just think about it.

10 days after the election, President Trump was alerted that he had been wiretapped by the FBI and his political enemies. Most of our reactions would be to scream and make public accusations immediately. Instead, Trump remained silent for nearly 5 months. Then finally, he tweeted that he just discovered about it.

Trump's accusation was immediately responded with ridicule. Leftists and those in the media called him a conspiracy nut. Yet, remained silent.

Trump said nothing as his enemies lied in their testimonies. He then allowed his enemies to appoint a special counsel to investigate him on these accusations that he knew they had fabricated.

Six months later, the truth is revealed Drip by drip. With every new drip of information, members from our side scream at the top of their lungs where Jeff Sessions is as if these Revelations were just discovered by Trump and administration at this same moment as well.

Let it sink in, pretty much every drop of information is being released in the timing that Trump has plan for nearly a year. I do not know what his end game is, but I am certainly enjoying the show and greatly looking forward to see how it ends.

I believe he was tipped off at the very beginning. That’s why he moved from Trump Tower to Bedminster NJ. Then he just let them overplay their hand. He (and his family) has absorbed a lot of punches in the last year.

Well played, Stable Genius.

So true. Good analysis.

I’m pretty smart, but not a strategic thinker. I’m also not introspective at all. I think you need scads of both of those attributes to pull this off.

It seems that if the plan comes together, the swamp will be drained as fast as a toilet flushes.

Sessions is doing his part. Patience produces results that stick and cannot be shouted off the stage.

I notice he is waiting for the evidence to be irrefutable. Then, I think it’s going to be lawyer time and fire time.

It’s a good move. Solid.

The IG report should also support his case, make it easier to pull the plug / shut it down. Mueller continues to look like a fool.....

Trump had demands that were well known before the meeting.

They have to agree to fund the wall, put and end to the Visa Lottery, secure the borders in other ways... and I forget the fourth item.

The Democrats will never agree to do these things.

Trump played the Democrats, and some of my buds here fell for it hook line and sinker.

Trump promised he’d sign whatever they sent over, but that was based on him getting his demands too. Folks, he’ll never get a DACA bill on his desk funding the wall, doing away with the Visa Lotter, and securing the border in other ways, or the fourth item I can’t remember now.

Trump accomplished this in yesterday’s meeting.

He made Wolff look positively moronic, like the biggest liar to come down the pike in 50 years.

He made it look like he’d give up the wall and everything else, to weak minded people.

He made it look like there would be no reason to shut down the government.

He didn’t give up a single one of his must-haves.

When Trump said, “Bring me a bill and I’ll sign it!”, he didn’t have to mention it has to have his must-haves in it. That’s something that everyone knows.

Folks, get your head in the game.

If the flushout happens qas thoroughly as it might we will need to have a lot more prison space. Guantanamo, for starters.

It’s pretty easy for Trump to be patient. He has all the facts from his campaign, and access to all the intelligence gathered before and after his inauguration. And by being patient, he knows the “witch hunters” will ultimately become the hunted. It’s already happening at the highest level at DOJ/FBI.

Trump is letting the swamp drain itself. Genius.

Mueller is doing Trump’s work. I wonder if he does it willingly or if he has no choice. He has functioned as a major alligator in that swamp and he might just be working to avoid spending his last years in prison.

Admiral Rogers tipped him off and right after that meeting the move was made.

Fortunately, with maintenance, the gallows can be reused indefinitely.
