This is the type of deep thinking in Hollywood today.
Actress, singer and producer Connie Britton wore a poverty is sexist T-shirt at the Golden Globes.
And the media cheered her for her courage.

The sweater costs around $380 So we know Connie is not suffering.
For the record homelessness mostly impacts men.
Mark Dice weighed in
Only women live in poverty, according to this #GoldenGlobes idiot. https://t.co/rcLA30M2ge
It means that the billions of poor men in the world are poor because of sexist... er, men?
Regards,
The shirt should say “Pirates Dream”.
No kidding,... forty bucks max, and probably under twenty quite easily.
It should be mentioned somewhere, that women many times make poor choices. Then when the unavoidable comes to pass, they whine like it’s everyone else and society’s fault. No, you were in charge of your own destiny, and you weren’t careful enough.
I know there are bad men out there, and they contribute to bad situations for women, but that does not absolve women for overlooking the warning signals.
What bothers me about this shirt, is that it seeks to spread the idea that poverty is always a man’s fault, and women are always the victims.
Cursive is Sexist.
Why, yes, I believe you have correctly translated that message.
Socialism causes poverty.
MEL Brooks could make a great comic movie about this hollywood scandal. He could use true events and quotes..it would be great. A young actress with her boobs hanging out of a black 10k gown complaining about sexual harassment?
The stupidity among them is mind boggling.
Commie Britton ,,, media whore .
If poverty is sexist, is affluence egalitarian? Maybe affluence is social justice? Social jaundice? I’m just trying to figure out how they come up with such witty t-shirts sayings.
She actually left ‘Nashville’ early last season. She now is in Fox Channel’s 9-1-1.
I watched the pilot episode last week. It was horrible. Every character was a cliche. Smart*ss new young guy causes trouble but manages to be the hero. More time was spent on the characters’ home lives than on rescuing. By the end of the program I realized I did not like ANY of the characters.
I suspect it will not last long.
THAT’s a movie star?
$380 for a t-shirt? For that money, it needs to be lined in GOLD, with a $360 rebate check...
Who and what moron would buy a $380 T shirt...I get mine at Walmart for less than $13... Granted, it is plain white, but it gets dirty...
“How does one even manage to fork over $380 for a t-shirt? I could not do it. “
Heck that thing could be made for 4.50 and a trip to Hobby Lobby (or Michaels).
Dumpy.
