Actress, singer and producer Connie Britton wore a “poverty is sexist” T-shirt at the Golden Globes.
And the media cheered her for her courage.

How does one even manage to fork over $380 for a t-shirt? I could not do it. No matter how rich I became. And to be virtue signaling and preaching to us about poverty at the same time? These people are clueless.

For a lot of these celebrities, their charitable contribution consists of lending their name to a cause. They get good PR from it, leading to more work opportunities, product endorsements, magazine photo shoots, and more money. And the more leftist the cause, the better.
This is not to say that some celebrities actually quietly give to charitable causes. But so many more toot their own horns in the process. As Jesus said, they have their reward.
