Reuters is reporting that NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers has announced to his staff he is resigning, and that a nominee will be announced to replace him shortly.
It took us a while to figure it out, but now that we have become aware of his place in history, Rogers departure makes sense. His incredible accomplishments are complete.

Good timing?

Rogers should receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction for the job he has done to halt the march of the Deep State.

I hope he has good security. Remember what happened to former CIA Director William Colby.

Exactly. There goes one of the good guys. May he live out his days in relative peace, far from the swamp. A stiff salute to an admirable man and patriot.

Nunes needs to stay where he is. Who would fill his shoes? The only move Id like to see Nunes make would be if Trump decided to get a real AG.

Devin Nunes isn’t even a lawyer. How is he supposed to be the AG?

Nunes is a great idea. Nunes has been recently vetted by the House ethics committee, and Trump already knows he can trust him.
He'd be a deep state nightmare.

We’re talking about replacing the NSA director not the Attorney General.

The NSA is military, and has always had a military head. Don’t know know if that is a law though.

It is not a formal requirement for the job in the sense that there is a legal obligation for the president to appoint a lawyer as AG. But somebody who was not a lawyer or at least didn't have a law degree and in fact a long history of practice, would find the job virtually impossible, since with the AG is supposed to do is to oversee the Department of Justice, which is responsible for enforcing many of our most fundamental laws. And without that kind of background, a person would not be able to perform the functions of the position.
