RUSH: From CNBC: Black Unemployment Rate Falls to Record Low Unemployment among black workers is at its lowest since at least the early 1970s, when the government began tracking the data. The black unemployment rate of 6.8% in December was the lowest since the Bureau of Labor Statistics started tracking it in 1972, a year in which the rate ranged from 11.2% to 9.4%. In the 45 years the data has been tracked, the unemployment rate for black or African-American workers aged 16 years and older has never fallen below 7%.
Now, to fall below 7% under Barack Hussein Obama or under George W. Bush or under Bill Clinton or under the promised presidency of Hillary Rodham Clinton? When did this happen? It happened in the last 12 months! Now, what happened in the last 12 months? Some moron who doesnt know anything about what hes doing, who is a childlike and who a 100% say is unfit for office did it or was presiding when it happened. What an idiot. What an abject idiot. I guarantee you, the Democrat Party is gonna look at this (chuckles) and theyre not gonna find anything to celebrate here.
And you African-Americans had better pay attention to me when I tell you this, cause this is not something that people you vote for are gonna celebrate. This is not good news for the Democrat Party, that black unemployment is falling. Thats something to be very wary and perhaps panicked about. And all of you Democrat-voting African-Americans had better not ignore me on this. Your patrons are not happy about this.
Good income, status and self-actualization, independence, and a strong feeling of self-will and control of destiny.
Exactly.
Because it sure helped the GOP candidate in Alabama, didn't it?
Dems about to have a collective stroke! What are they going to do now? They have deliberately kept Blacks down and told them that Whitey is why they are poor and that they should vote dem and the dems will help them.
But how to explain what happened in Alobama?
Because it sure helped the GOP candidate in Alabama, didn’t it?
I suspect Rush is talking about a trend, not an isolated case.
Even Bill Clinton understood the phrase “it is the economy, stupid”
Fair enough. When's the trend going to start?
It wont matter...
Black unemployment figures are as phony, or phonier, than white unemployment figures.
The unemployment figure is a ratio of those not working to those defined as eligible and trying to work. Those who are discouraged or uninterested in working are not counted in the ratio.
That’s why there are unemployment ratios like U-3 and U-6 (which is much higher).
So, it’s not as good, or at least as descriptive, as it sounds. In particular, if more blacks percentagewise are unavailable for work than whites, the ratio is skewed.
I don’t think the typical black voter believes that the black unemployment rate is important. Further, I don’t know why any conservative would believe they would.
Bttt.
5.56mm
I thought it had become widely accepted among conservatives that numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics are flawed because they don’t include people who have dropped out of he work force. Is there any reason to believe these numbers truly show actual unemployment numbers now?
They’re not going to appreciate it. They still hate Trump and they’re always going to be a socialist voting bloc.
1. Unemployed Adult population / Adult population = Unemployment rate
2. (Unemployed population + government employees) / Adult population= Wagon Rider Rate
3. Non Gov Employed Adults / Adult population = Wagon Pulling Rate
The rest of the measures are political spin
They’ll just give the credit to Obama.
Character assassination ... that's what happened.
I agree that your definition is the correct one.
The government stats exclude many of the Riders.
Amen.
This type of news doesn’t matter. In fact the narrative will be something like, it just proves as whitey gets richer they have to hire more blacks to work for minimum wage.
Population - 326,000,000
Adults = 248,000,000
Private business employees = 124,000,000
US Census estimates. That 124mil number probably has a significant amount of government related employees, NGOs, etc.
