In other words, the author himself tells us this is the version he wants us to believe, or is most self-serving.
I really wonder if he had the access he claims. It seems unlikely, but It cannot be ruled out.

WHY was this Wolff fellow allowed in the Whitehouse so many times? They knew he was a liberal reporter. It boggles my mind why he was allowed full access to every member of President’s Trump’s cabinet.
