But my original point in my other comment still stands. This guy has written a book. He wants it to sell. What sells right now? Trump does. Insider stuff always sells so the mo' the better for the author.
Does that make these claims true? Not necessarily but you all know how this works. Get it out there and the media's on offense and the Trump camp goes on defense.

As a guy who'll never be rich, but who knew that when choosing his trade, I have no problem whatever with a guy who's rich, largely self-made, and unbeholden to anyone sitting in the boss's chair at 1600.
It's my understanding of our history that a man with that underlined quality to his character is precisely the sort they intended, not only as the chief executive, but also as senators and, in their optimistic moments, House members as well.

The first spouse is not a government employee. Even the title First Lady (someday First Husband or Spouse) is just an honorific. She has not traded her life as wife of a billionaire. If anything, she has enhanced status and influence. But that kind of trashy book is hurtful no matter who you are and, in the US, there is no effective way to take it to court if you are deemed a “public” person. I have long thought our libel and slander laws were tilted too far against famous people.

This is such garbage. President Trump said when they were discussing him running Melania told him “you know, if you run you will win”.
Who cares about the left, Trump has pretty much finished Bannon off with a superbly worded take-down.
I’d be surprised if Bannon could get invited to do kid’s birthday parties after this.
Emotional ploy, the left is starting to realize that the populace as a whole thinks very highly of Melania so they’re attempting to peel her off from Trump by saying she’s not there willingly.
POTUS sleeps 4 hours a night, having a separate bedroom does not discount a visit or two.

FLOTUS did not look at all upset on election night. This book belongs in the fiction section.
Melania filed suit against the people claiming her son was mentally handicapped, and they shut up pretty quickly, IIRC.
I’d like to see this author sued, just like I’d like to see Gloria Allred and her daughter sued. Immediately. The truth has to get out of the starting block before the lie travels around the world twice, because people who hear the first report don’t always - or even often - hear the retraction. That’s part of the game. Sue this guy and Allred into a pauper’s prison, and maybe people will get the idea that things have changed.
