McDonald's looks pretty golden-headed into 2018.
The combination of McDonald's planned rollout of fresh, never-frozen beef, its recent relaunch of its Dollar Menu and woes at other restaurant chains could help the restaurant boost its same-store sales and grab more market share in the industry.
The burger giant's stock ended 2017 up more than 41 percent, the largest stock move in the restaurant industry during the year, and more than one analyst is calling for more gains in the new year.

I haven’t bought anything but coffee from them in years.
I think the last burger I got at McDonald’s was in the late 80s. Coffee and a rare breakfast item, that has been it for me.

Everyone has a dollar in their pocket. Sell $1 cookie burgers and they won’t lose until they remove it from the menue. Where are their sales/marketing people?
I’ve only been eating at McDonalds for the last 58 years or so, but I do like their food.
It’s so entertaining to watch people swarm to a Free Republic thread to trash a prime example of the Free Enterprise System at work.
I guess some folks only believe in Capitalism unless they don’t.

With Michelle Obama gone - restaurants can finally serve food again. It used to be McDonald’s and the other chains introduced new items regularly but that came to a screeching halt as Michelle demanded healthy (more expensive) choices and threatened the chains with government health lawsuits aplenty if they didn’t comply in an effort to get Amish to eat better.
Well they just stopped going and fast food got caught between a rock and hard place.

Exactly. Which is why I am not willing to spend more than on the dollar menu options. Those sundaes (who knows what’s in them) can be a nice quick little late night dessert. Can’t believe they took dollar menu down at all. Smart move to bring it back instead of attempting to go “gourmet.”
I have an idea, because it feels more like going to a casual food restaurant whenever I visit McD.
You should change your business model to fast food.
Waiting 5-10 minutes or more is way too long.....
