Minutes before midnight on New Year's Eve, a 16-year-old boy allegedly used a semi-automatic rifle owned by a family member to shoot and kill his parents, sister and a family friend inside the parents' home in a coastal city in southern New Jersey, the county prosecutor said.

Semi-auto rifles have extreme restrictions placed on ownership in New Jersey.
This one was owned legally.

Read the story on Fox News and it was described as a “semi-automatic ASSAULT rifle”. Any semi-automatic rifle is now an “assault” rifle according to the media idiots. Could have been a .22 automatic squirrel rifle for all we know, but that description would not sound bad enough for the media.
Sad that the family paid a horrible price none the less.
I pray the family is in God’s arms and for this 16 yr old to be reached with the saving grace of God through Jesus. Satan is seeking whom he may devour, pray for revival in America in this new year. If you have never done so, know is the time to begin asking God where one needs to yield oneself in service to Him. Prison ministry is a challenging start, there are Christian prisoners, devout men of God who know who they were, and know they will die inside their prison wall, yet they are FREE in Christ Jesus and are at peace. With God all things are possible, this young man will pay with his physical life for this, one must know pray for his eternal soul.
Yes it is. I suspect the family has had a history of issues with this child. That’s just a guess on my part of course.
His “issues” should be quickly addressed in the electric chair. Too much psychobabble every time one of these punks goes off. He needs and others need to know this is what happens when you cross the line between society and mayhem.
