The Republican Party is sick, so sick it cant breathe, and its lack of oxygen has given it severe muscle fatigue. Theres a chance that what ails the GOP is terminal, but to give ourselves a chance at recovery, weve got to movephysically.
The partys national committees, think-tank brains, campaign strategists, and government functionaries all live in the fever swamps of Washington that firmly anchor the snotty southern end of the Acela Corridor. The GOPs elected and unelected leaders all want to heal the party, but no amount of voodoo will cure this disease. Its time to move our whole wheezing family to fresher air before we all choke to death.
Like people in every other profession, political operatives are affected by environs and socialized by neighbors. After a decade of political sorting, the neighbors in the greater Washington area no longer bear any statistical resemblance to the voters in the winning coalition that our Republican candidates canand doassemble in the populist-conservative America that exists in the mass of the nation far from the upscale enclaves strung together on the east and west coasts.

Most of the elected GOP Senators are Cheap Labor Express stooges. We need a thorough housecleaning in both Houses.
Alexander, Corker, Flake, Graham, Hatch, Heller, Hoeven, Murkowsky, McCain, Rubio, Gardner, Burr, Tillis, Portman, McConnell, Thune, Cornyn, Cochran, Isackson, Blunt, Johnson, Toomey, Capito, Kennedy, Rounds, Fischer, Collins, Wicker, Sasse, Ernst, Lankford, Young, Boozman and Shelby are all undocumented Democrats in R jerseys.
My contribution is simply this.
Nielsen, the media ratings company, changed Washington DC from the seventh largest market in the USA to the sixth largest in the fall of this year, 2017.
Washington DC is still getting bigger.
When does it get smaller?
Your monopolist dollars at work.
southern end of the Acela CorridorI hate this name for the Pennsylvania Railroads Philadelphia, Baltimore & Washington division. A real testament to government depredations upon the private sector.
Spread the swamp? Trump administration wants to move government offices out of Washington

Terminal works for me. We can replace the swamp creatures.
I very much agree with this assessment. Washington DC is a group think area suffused with left wing premises and atmosphere.
Yes they are!
