And leaves academics stunned. "A study released Tuesday in the journal Scientific Reports found that snowfall on the highest peak in the Alaska Range has more than doubled since the start of the Industrial Revolution in the mid-19th century, which researchers attribute to climate change," Valerie Richardson reported in The Washington Times on December 19, 2017.
"We were shocked when we first saw how much snowfall has increased," Erich Osterberg, an assistant professor of earth sciences who led the investigation with researchers from Dartmouth, the University of Maine and the University of New Hampshire, stated.

ACADEMICS: Individuals who are incapable of or unwilling to create or provide goods or services of value to others, who pontificate and expect to be paid for it, usually from public funds.

Climate Change is a GIVEN... the earth is always fluctuating between an ICEBALL and Moderate Temperatures.... And thank God that we have been in a moderate spell for a good long time now, otherwise we likely would not be there.
Any impact of Human Activity on Global Climate is at best minuscule, and the attempt to spin these affects as life threatening is flat out fraud.
To: Academiadotorg
Like I have posted here many times, the next ice age will kill 100 times as many people as global warming by a degree or two or three. If Humans are smart, they would try their best to keep the globe as warm as long as possible, to delay the next ice age.

Snow falls in the mountains.
More snow falls in the mountains.
Even more snow falls in the mountains.
Snow compacts.
Turns to ice.
More snow falls.
More snow turns to more ice.
More ice become glaciers.
But the glaciers are receding. Or maybe...
the glaciers are reseeding.

For that sin, they will be shunned, and their grant money bled dry.

Here is a group of grad students who are never going to be employed to use their degrees again.
