Dirty little secret is that urbanites are the biggest polluters ever. I used to own rental property in the inner city. I'd tell my kids to go pick up the front yard--they'd get it nice and clean--someone else's chip bags and wrappers in a large trash bag. 30 minutes later it looked as though they hadn't picked up a thing.

Tax and tax, spend and spend, regulate and regulate, all to no visible effect, save so much impoverishment of the whole economy, that there shall be nothing left to provide even the least means to adapt to the harshness of either winter’s blasts of cold and snow, or summer’s sweltering waves of heat and drought.

Somehow this does not seem to be the best application of human intelligence and initiative.

Guess what filthy dirty factories bring JOBS. Jobs bring stores and other businesses that are also jobs that lift families out of poverty.

When families are lifted out of poverty their neighborhoods get better.
