Comedian Rosie ODonnell in a tweet late Tuesday offered millions in cash to senators who vote against the Republican tax plan.
Her tweet called specifically on Republican Sens. Jeff Flake of Arizona and Susan Collins of Maine. Ms. ODonnell offered $2 million to each senator to vote no. She then followed up telling Ms. Collins specifically to call if she wanted to negotiate.

Should be an interesting day (month, year) for one of entertainment's very worst people.

She’s a progressive, I bet she’s immune to prosecution if it advances progressivism. Hmmm that has a familiar ring, what could that resonance be?

Offering money to a lawmaker in exchange for changing a vote, or voting a particular way, is illegal. And yet, that's the way it works. That, and the dossier in the file drawer. Between those two, that's the way Washington operates. Its not carrot or stick, its carrot *and* stick.

Isn't this against the law? I mean, without disguising it like lobbyists do....

during the election Madonna was offering blow-jobs to anyone who voted to Clinton. Dems will offer anything, and deliver nothing, to get their way.

That is the way these liberal idiots think: they have a moral imperative to violate the law if their intentions, they think, are noble.

$2 mil to pay off a Senator? Chump change. They can pick up that much at a single lunch date.

In other words, the ugly bitch offered bribes to elected officials in exchange for their votes...quid pro quo. Somewhere in the dim past when laws meant something even for rich, famous, powerful Democrats, I seem to recall that bribing elected officials was a crime. Too bad that America doesn’t exist anymore.

Laws don’t apply to the celebrity class. Who else would lecture us little people about morality while they live in their luxurious moral cesspools?
