Interesting. Wonder why his numbers are falling? The dems are definitely trying their hardest to turn the red counties blue.

I’m going to guess the district he reps is affluent and will not be happy if they lose deductions if NC has high state taxes.

and the twelve that bailed out knew it in the best interest of the people they were elected to represent and wished to have happen.

Actually that’s not true. Most of these reps voted no to represent their constituents whose taxes will go up with this bill. Middle class people who also deserved a tax cut, not a tax increase. And I can guarantee you there are millions of them. I’m one of them.

Dana Rohrabacher of California
Darrell Issa of California

Given permission by Ryan. Will pass anyway, so why give their opponents fodder to use against them next year.

First time a Rat won Orange County. Also no Voter ID with Spanish becoming the first language in North and Central Orange County.

Reporting for Jury Duty at the Santa Ana Courthouse is an eye opener.

taxes will go UP because the rinos like ryan gave a huge tax break to their corporate donors paid for by middle class

I'm having a hard time figuring out how a $10K cap on SALT hurts the middle class.

Btw, who's been paying for those $10K+ SALT deductions all these years? Yep, the middle class...

“I’d rather keep their seats on our side.”

If they are going to vote liberal rather than the conservative stance the GOP has, their seat is already lost. And as for saying they will more likely vote with us? They didn’t.

If I lived in California, but I played for Texas, should I only catch passes when it meant something or all the time because it might mean something later? Or will I start dropping passes so the quarterback will lose confidence in me and not throw it to me anymore when he really needs me?

I can almost promise you that less than a tiny percentage of liberals voted them in. They are there to further a conservative agenda and to keep the liberals from applying their agenda that has been a destruction to this country since Clinton in 1992. Bush was a crossover, and did a lot of putting out fires, but Obama has done a huge amount of damage to us since.

The lines of the two major parties were drawn 70 years ago and have shared in the problems we have had since.

The parties have a purpose and a need. The two most important things the conservatives have is the purpose to reverse or stop the liberal agenda which has proven itself unworkable and putting us on a track of destruction. And the liberal agenda is anything that will stop the conservatives. Their need is to keep in office for them to do it or just to have a job.

The liberals on the other hand have only a combined purpose and need, to get their agenda in place so they can control the country. They don’t need to get re-elected as they take care of each other and will show up some where else to do damage. Look at Obama for instance. And they are born joined at the agenda with a steady supply of them out there. Can’t tell your players without a scorecard.

I’m reminded of Jed Clampett telling Jethro when he would screw up by supporting the opposite of Jed’s needs, “Don’t help me boy.” And always remember, the conservatives have opponents. The liberals have enemies. Don’t give them anything as they will make every effort to cripple you with it.

It appears that once the Pubs knew they had the votes to pass the bill, these GOP Reps from the blue States were given the O.K. to vote nay. ...Happens frequently.

“Actually that’s not true. Most of these reps voted no to represent their constituents”

Please see my entry to Alberta’s child on constituents. I am very intent on that one. You can’t fight half a war by trying to pacify people who don’t care what you think and are going to beat you into the ground as fast as they can and keep you there. You can’t try to appease people that would just as soon shut you down completely. And that’s all they do so they can toss in their agenda any way they can whether it works or not. And they won’t back off if it doesn’t. (See last eight years)

Of course King’s going to be angry. Some of his constituents pay $25,000 or more in State and Local Taxes.
******************************************
That’s not the fault of the Federal government!

People and their Reps and Sens in those high SALT States need to confront their State and local administrators to lower their taxes.

Isn’t it sad to know that a liberal can trust the person who represents him to do exactly what their agenda is, completely, every time, with no excuses, and no hesitation to go at it another way if it doesn’t work.

Not one liberal voted for convicting Clinton at the impeachment hearings. Not one liberal voted against the Affordable Care Act. 14th Amendment to free the slaves, 0% democrat support, 15th Amendment, right for all to vote, 0% democrat support. See the pattern here?

Where as we are stuck having to trust people that vote for their job over their integrity even when they’re not going to change what has happened. Does that foster trust?

Actually it was totally mine. As a person who supported trump since day one and has never voted for a democrat I think I have the right to criticize the obvious, unless fascists like you would like to send all dissenters to the gulag. You really belong over at Conservative Nuthouse where only one viewpoint is acceptable.

Any idiot can tell that this tax bill was designed by swamp rino dirtbags and paid for by middle class taxpayers, and in 5 years by all taxpayers. But keep drinking the paul ryan kevin brady kool aid.

No, it does not foster trust my friend - aaaaand - I'm sick of it ! E-mails, phone calls to these "critters" are useless. Most correspondence with these spineless vermin are handled by their "staff" and end up in the trash bin or, they send me a very neutral response thanking me for contacting their office. They ALL can go to hell ! It is very discouraging Red. We NEED about 500 more "Donald Trumps" in place in Washington. Things would change - and fast. Just my .02 !

It hurts the middle class because they are the ones who pay local and state taxes, vehicle taxes and property taxes that are far in excess of 10K. Duh! A tax cut that ends up raising taxes on trump voters is NOT the smart move.
