CHICAGO (WLS) -- Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin headed to the United Nations in New York Thursday to ask for help fighting violence in Chicago.
"I'm hoping to appeal the UN to actually come to Chicago and meet with victims of violence and maybe even possibly help out in terms of peace keeping efforts," Boykin said.
Boykin boarded a plane to New York City for a meeting with an Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations. It's a meeting that's been planned for more than a month and stems from disconcerting violence numbers seen this year in Chicago. Violence which is felt particularly hard in many African American communities.

Chicago could offer sanctuary to the Boko Haram crowd. Bring them over as peacekeepers. This is the kind of stupid we see in American Democrats.
Considering that Chicago never had one murder or any other act of violence before Trump got in, I think this is quite appropriate. While the UN is at it, they might as well set up a provisional government with Hitlery as head of state.

Correct me if Im wrong but can a US city ask a foreign power to provide military force for domestic security? Does Chicago want and have the power to imvite armed blue helmet troops from Congo Surinam and Nepal patroling its streets, empowered to shoot US citizens even if they are gang bangers?
