Roy Moore’s loss does not signal a ‘Democratic wave’
NOQ Report ^ | 12/13/17 | JD Rucker

Contrary to what the Washington Post claims, there is no “Democratic wave.” Even if there was one, the idea that Roy Moore’s loss in Alabama yesterday was indicative of anything resembling a wave is utterly ludicrous.

More Americans are waking up to the reality that the Democratic Party doesn’t have their best interests in mind. This is why they’re losing membership almost as quickly as the Republicans. As more people become Independents or join the Libertarian, Green, or Federalist parties, it’s a signal that the Democrats are not rising or part of some wave. There is an anti-GOP wave. In the current two-party system, that results in Democratic victories.

The real wave points to the idea that third party and independent candidates can start winning elections in the near future. It may not happen in 2018. It may not even happen in 2020. It will happen at some point. The corruption in both parties is too blatant for them to hold on to their duopoly for much longer.

Roy Moore’s loss does not signal a ‘Democratic wave’

I don't know why the author believes this. I can see a scenario where Democrats win many elections even in heavily Republican areas through the exact same process that we saw in Alabama: Democrat misfits turn out heavily, and Republicans stay home. This is clearly a possibility as the Republican Party continues to fail miserably at accomplishing any of the things they promised to do when voters put them in office. The epic ObamaCare failure this year has been symptomatic of everything that is wrong with the GOP in Washington ... and it will ultimately lead to their demise if they don't get their asses in gear.

>I don’t know why the author believes this.<

I think you’ve inadvertently answered your own question.

It’s not so much that the demonrats are on a wave (judging from what happened in Alabama) but that a lot of us normals are showing that we’re fed up with business-as-usual by the Republican Wing of the UniParty.

The first election I voted in was ‘68 and I’ve never voted for a demonrat. That’ll change if Gardner runs for reelection in Colorado.

I’ve had it.

Well, that's up to you -- but I couldn't imagine why you'd vote for a Democrat under any circumstances.

It's one thing to vote for nobody or for a third-party candidate, but I really question the motivations of anyone who votes for a candidate whose agenda is built around appealing to misfits and malcontents -- at the expense of normal, decent Americans.

>>Contrary to what the Washington Post claims, there is no “Democratic wave.”

The author is wrong. The Democrats control the UniParty and Moore’s loss was the UniParty beginning unrestricted warfare against us and Trump. They have weaponized sexual harassment claims and will deploy that endlessly in 2018. Jones didn’t win because of Jones. He won because of this new sexual history weapon.

After everything that was thrown at Moore, he still only lost by about 1.5%.

Roy Moore was defeated by a smear campaign.

He fell to the well timed barrage of unproven allegations of sexual misconduct coordinated by democrats.

So, in this election democrats learned how to engineer and weaponize what Hillary Clinton would call “Bimbo Eruptions”.

You can bet that in the run-up to the 2018 election they will be using this sleazy but successful smear technique again and again.

The entire DNC lined up against Moore
The media pounded the Moore allegations over and over.
Most of the Republican Party fought against Moore.
Millions flowed into Jones campaign from around the country.

Jones won by 1.5%

That is not a wave, a mandate or a trend.

It is the whimper of a dying political class.

But, you can rest assured that the Democrats will take this too far and overplay their hand......again.

I can see a scenario where Democrats win many elections even in heavily Republican areas through the exact same process that we saw in Alabama: Democrat misfits turn out heavily, and Republicans stay home.

In the House, would a Republican House member who held the seat for years suddenly be seen as a sexual predator by his district soley because of an unsubstantiated accusation?

In the Senate, at least, Democrats have to defend 25 out of 33 seats.

Of the eight Republican Senate seats, we have the following:

But like any weapon the more it’s used the less its shock value and effectiveness.

Besides, this hysteria just might induce some of the creeps to man up and behave like decent human beings.

Can the GOP possibly be “for” something more than it’s “against” something? Roy was the quintessential “against” candidate. This is what tends to irritate the left into action, even if it’s irrational.

This is an opportunity to eject “safe” Republican Senators and Congressmen in the primaries. No longer can we afford to “play it safe”. You can’t ask can he win in the general you must go with the non Establishment MAGA candidate if one runs in your local R primary. Voting for RINOs gets you more RINOs.

It’s like a motorcycle accident. It is better sometimes to die quickly than to be an invalid. Voting Democrat is opening up the throttle to a quick destruction. I get it.

There was nothing wrong with Moore’s politics. He had poor likability factor.

Most of the GOP problems are coming from 5 or 6 Republican senators.

McCain is at the top of that list. Throw in Jeff Flake of Arizona, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

This is a cabal of truly loathsome individuals, none of who believe true Republican ideals (Smaller government, fiscal responsibility, more power to the people). They only run in the Republican ticket because they know they could not win in their states running as democrats. They are snakes in the grass, doing everything possible to thwart conservative policies from being implemented.

We have no such individuals like this working for us in the rat party.

You are a political idiot. Moore struck fear in the heart of the Senate. You didn’t notice. As usual.

What about the wall, stopping immigration invasion and ending free trade? These used to be Republican ideals?

There will be no second Trump term, Florida is GONE after he signs this, the only real question is whether he will be impeached before he is voted out in 2020.

What about all of the people who took out Federal Student Loans with the understanding that the interest would be deductible?

What about all of the employees with unreimbursed expenses that could deduct mileage and tolls?

That one alone is going to cost me a 17K deduction.

Lots of people PAY NO TAX or very little tax. This bill is going to KILL ACTUAL TAXPAYERS making over between 100-200K that itemized.

In that the GOP has not done anything about my $6,800 medical deductible up from $500 before Obamacare but has managed to raise my taxes $12,000 a year, I won't be voting for ANY Republicans, ever again.

Familys of 4 are losing deductions for unreimbursed employee expenses, college tuition, medical and dental expenses, state sales taxes (there are no state an local income taxes in Florida), $16K in personal exemptions, capped mortgage interest, casualty and theft, and mortgage insurance premiums.

I will be seeing my taxable income go up $70,000.

This is going to DESTROY the housing market and the value of people homes and play hell with population growth via the loss of personal exemptions for kids, so it has the added effect of further reducing the number or children AMERICAN CITIZENS produce, making us a minority in our own country.

Couple this with the 15% FICA and the OUTRAGEOUS increase in medical deductibles and copays, and this slaughters the very base of Trump supporters in States like Florida.
