Look, I know he would have preferred Strange to have been the one running. But he did his part, played the good soldier and gave what should have been enough support to Moore to get him over the finish. But Moore was betrayed.
I’m so glad Sessions gave up his Senate seat so that he could appoint a special counsel to launch a criminal investigation of Trump.
Obama never had such class.

Judge Moore did himself no favors on the Hannity show. He did not seem to be prepared to answer the expected questions. For someone who spent a lifetime as a lawyer he did not do well addressing the accusations.
Yeah, the problem was obvious - AL-Gop thought this was in the bag and probably did no GOTV. Just a couple days of door knocking and they would have gotten the amount to make up the loss.
This is the lesson that needs to be learned.
Yep. Especially after Jones won by 1% after Moore’s own party knee capped him and our POTUS! Has to be unprecedented in American history. Shelby’s media blitz last weekend to undermine Moore was just the final straw.
Two years right? I hope that the people of Alabama get their fill of Jones and McConnell.

Yeah, Trump didn’t let his Iowa primary loss get him down, and he proceeded to win anyway. Same thing here in Alabama. Small setback, but the future is still strongly in Trump’s favor. Here we cone 2018!

No, it was Richard Shelby. The Senior Senator from Alabama and his media blitz last weekend that mortally wounded Roy Moore.
Good, classy move by our President. It makes no sense to wallow in a setback. Moore certainly wasn’t the greatest candidate but I lay this defeat at the feet of Mitch McConnell who is undoubtably doing his happy dance now.
Don’t blame Sessions. Blame Alabama governor Kay Ivey. Luther Strange was originally appointed by the prior governor to fill the remainder of Sessions’ term, but when that guy stepped down and Ivey took over she reversed his decision and scheduled this special election instead. The Alabama GOP gave this seat away.
I’d sooner congratulate ISIS on a successful terrorist attack than a democrat.
