Judge Moore did himself no favors on the Hannity show. He did not seem to be prepared to answer the expected questions. For someone who spent a lifetime as a lawyer he did not do well addressing the accusations.
I’ve been burned and scorned here for my views of Moore, but it was that Hannity interview that lost him supporters. He was LYING. Plain and simple. Hannity saw it and changed on a dime from blind slavering support to “whoa, watch out for this one.” Me too. He had an unhealthy actual pursuit of underaged girls or borderline aged girls while a mature adult. It just isn’t ok. It shows a character problem. The only way out of it is to own it. “Yes, at 30 I really did have crushes on much younger girls. My wife was also much younger and she was such an angel I’ve never looked at another since.” Would have probably won tonight if he’d said that.
