Ever see a Pixar cartoon about a flock of birds ganging up on a different bird. They tried to force him from a high tension wire he was weighing down and only managed to cripple themselves. That’s what the press and Democrats remind me of regarding their Trump campaign.

Ryan Lizza made this statement:

"I am dismayed that The New Yorker has decided to characterize a respectful relationship with a woman I dated as somehow inappropriate,” he said. “The New Yorker was unable to cite any company policy that was violated. I am sorry to my friends, workplace colleagues, and loved ones for any embarrassment this episode may cause. I love The New Yorker, my home for the last decade, and I have the highest regard for the people who work there. But this decision, which was made hastily and without a full investigation of the relevant facts, was a terrible mistake."

I don't know either of these people, I don't know if either he or she is telling the truth.

If he is actually harassing co-workers, of course he should be fired. The magazine can't have a known harasser around preying on other employees.

However, if he is accurate that he had a respectful relationship with a woman he dated, and he was mistakenly let go without an investigation of the relevant facts, he should file a defamation lawsuit against the New Yorker and the woman who made the allegations. He should have his day in court, face his accuser, depose witnesses of his conduct at work, and let a jury decide.

He insists that he is innocent-——and until proven guilty,he IS innocent.

Legally, I guess. But this may never come up before a court.

Thanks C19fan. From the sound of it, it's lucky for him neighbors' pets can't talk.

Every time I see one of those photos of some self-obsessed idiot standing before a wall of logos I just shudder and click elsewhere.

I can’t remember when it became the marketing big thing but it’s backfiring in my world.
