Vandalizing and destroying property, not just leaving bacon. Headlines should not mislead.
However, you and I know damned well that if he had left out the bacon part he would have gotten a much lighter sentence. This is undeniable. That made it a “hate” crime, which is the absolute worst thing imaginable, and the unforgiveable sin.
Crimes of murder result in ridiculously light sentences - no one cares about a random person dying. But just bring in the suspicion of bias, and it’s full obsession. Remember the “crime” of the guy who threw a banana peel on a tree? Wall to wall hysteria.

This just after a California jury released an illegal alien that murdered Kate Steinle. The outcome of that case and this one are summed up under what the Left calls “social justice”.
The Governor of FLA needs to pardon him now. This is a rouge judge who is out of control.
He should have been forced to pay for the damages, perhaps a fine on top of that. Maybe 30 days in the county jail suspended, followed by probation for 2 years.
