Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) said Thursday that if Roy Moore is elected to the Senate next week, there should be an ethics investigation into the sexual assault and misconduct allegations against him.

Tillis said on Buzzfeed's "AM to DM" Twitter morning show that he thinks an investigation should take place before the chamber moves to expel Moore or take other action.

I cannot believe this Republican Party in the Senate. They are the most ignorant bunch of fools in Washington. They will lose everything and are too stupid to see that the communists Democrats are playing them. Damn, what fools we have elected.

So true. Can’t they just figure out, if they are too stupid to express an original thought that they should just shut their frickin mouths?

My question was can the ethics committee do an
investigation on someone who is not yet a senator?
Doesn’t he have to be a sitting Senator before they can
start one? If they start one before he’s seated haven’t
they exceeded their authority?

Seriously, these corrupt, control freaks are as bad as Hillary at letting go of a loss.

They had better get use to losing their Establishment strangle hold on the Republican Party .... because S. Bannon will make sure of it.

I don’t understand how Congress has the authority to conduct an ethics investigation on something that allegedly happened 40 years ago, before the subject was even an elected member of Congress. If they plan to follow through with this, then every member of Congress should be investigated for alleged wrong-doings they committed in all the years prior to their election to Congress.

Franken was pushed out to “clear the deck” for Moore to be deposed.

Roy Moore’s been declared “radioactive” by the Corporatists who buy our politicians including the Republicans who have faked themselves as “Conservative” using Fox, Newsmax, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck and so on as platforms to peddle their fakery.

Is someone keeping a list of who these dirt bags are? Thune is one. Flake is another. Now Tillis. There should be some political payback for their treachery.

We do know that Steve Bannon is gearing up. He's making a list and checking it twice.

Bring it on.

Roy Moore is Mr Smith goes to Washington - real world.

Only Roy Moore’s Mr Smith is a West Point grad, veteran of two tours of duty in Vietnam commanding a military police battalion, Alabama Law grad, Deputy DA, Alabama State Champion kick boxer, and Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice.

All I can say is it’s a very good thing for these Washington maggots that dueling has been outlawed or Roy Moore would be leaving a trial of cold bodies all over Washington.

Just sign me up now.

he wants a show trial so the slime balls can preen and posture

You might be right. But I think they are pinning their hopes on the “child molester” charge., which can’t be proven or disproven. However there is one detail in “the credible accuser’s” story that just doesn’t pass the smell test. She said she gave Moore her phone number. As hard as it is to believe today, teenage girls didn’t have their own phones back then. If she gave him a phone number, it was her mom’s home number.

Ex post facto election oppo research and ballot box nullification. We’ll find out who has more standing: Alabama electorate or pearl clutching GOPe hypocrites.
