All understanding of complex situations is finite. In Mathews case it seems far more finite than in most. To understand even the basics of what is going on, one must understand something of Islam and its history, something if Jewish history, something of human nature, and at least be able to tell the differences between how the world views of various religious doctrines are effecting how people act and what they think. But Mathews seems to put things into two buckets: The Empirical and Real vs the Religious and Mythical. He replaces rationality and knowledge with laziness and presumption. His epistemology being built on the foundation of PC hive thinking rather than solid reasoning. Like the epitome of the lazy Leftist, he desires to claim the prestige of intellectual accomplishment without bothering to do any of the real work. Just as Leftists claim the prestige of generosity by supporting laws that force "the wealthy" to be generous. Or claim moral courage by pretending thugs and tyrants are the victims of those who stand against thuggery and tyranny.
What Matthews did to her on camera was harassment.

Thanks ColdOne. Observe the shift to the newest and bestest DNC talking point, delivered to the airwaves by Partisan Media Shill Pissy Chrissy.
I don’t understand the problem. We are constantly being lectured by politicians and the media as to how peaceful and misunderstood Islam is.
If what they claim is true, what could possibly go wrong?
"Don't think this isn't related to Alabama next week. It is related," Matthews said. "Because its the Christian Evangelicals down there with their crazy ideas about Israel which is, I don't know, mythical." "They don't understand the situation over there, how tricky it is ethnically and tribally," he added. "They don't care because it's a religious belief. Trump is playing into that this week; you watch him."Let's see... he insulted every tribe with flag in the Middle East, every Christian in the world, every muzzie, everyone in Alabama, AND, here's the amusing punchline, it is going to work in favor of Roy Moore, even if that wasn't how it was intended.
These politicians think they can vote safely for things they don't support, because a swamp-minded president will override them. We no longer have a swamp-minded president.
Poor Chrissy Matthews..his wet dream of seeing Israel wiped off the face of the earth failed..we have a President who cares about Israel’s existence..its been a while
How true!
He'd have to become a respectable journalist to do that. . . . .
You got that right! He was too is insane even for Hawaii. They took him off over here.

Amen—being a student of the Word has blessings that non believers will never be able to understand, God is sitting on the throne and everything is unfolding according to His plan and on His timeline—period.
Clearly Matthews doesn’t understand God’s plans
Crazy Chris Matthews thinks he understands the situation in Israel. It's long past time for us to tell the Palestinians to F*** OFF!
Since they can't stop acting like children, it's about time we started treating them like children and not concern ourselves with their opinions or thoughts.
As an Alabamian, and a Christian, I view Matthews insults as a badge of honor.
Just goes to show you who the real bigots are.
If there ever is to be a real "peace process" it will have to be based on reality not fiction, so acknowledging reality is a positive move for peace.
Evangelicals understand the situation in Israel very well. They visit Israel (including PA territories like Bethlehem and Jericho) and keep up with the news there. I myself have visited twice.
Putrid little cotton head. Israel is not a myth. Israel has existed for 6000 years plus. You don’t have to be an evangelical to understand basic ancient history. And yes us stupid evangelicals can skip and chew at the same time. Roy Moore is its own issue, and this is another issue.
Israel was first a primarily Jewish nation. Then it became partially Christian. Muslims were the late comers.
