The House is about to vote on impeachment articles against President Trump.
Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas said he will force a vote on impeaching Trump as early as Wednesday. Republicans will easily table the symbolic vote, but it will put lawmakers on the record.
“Three prominent Democrats have asked to meet with me to discuss impeachment,” Green said on the floor Tuesday. Green appeared to be referring to members within his party’s leadership who have urged him to stop his campaign to force an impeachment vote.
“I will tell them I refuse to sit on the sidelines while the world is considering one of the great issues of our time,” Green said. “I will tell them that tomorrow we will bring articles of impeachment to the floor of the Congress of United States of America for a vote.”

Big Al is about to step in it. This doesn’t just put GOPers on record - it puts the Dems on record too. I say, ‘go for it.’ There’s a reason DragonLady Pelosi is trying to tamp down impeachment talk. Dem fundraising is in the tank, and she knows this shenanigans will further cripple the cash flow for 2018 midterms.
I’m favorable to shooting anyone who votes affirmatively.
Trump is still asleep! He has no idea that he might be impeached and is just doing nothing. Oh, but he is willing to destroy North Korea but just hasn’t the brains that he just might be one to get hurt. What is going on in his mind. Isn’t he listening?
The 2018 midterm election is set... The DumcRATS are going to run on impeachment... And resoundingly lose.
Even after Republicans maintain or increase control of the Congress and the Senate, the press will end up spinning it as a Trump defeat.
Unless a resolution naming Trump as POTUS for life passes after the midterms.
I think you’re wrong.
To me, the “except in cases of impeachment” language means that the President can’t over-ride the impeachment process of himself or anyone else. It doesn’t mean that the impeachment net precludes any pardon of anyone involved, like Flynn, whose “crime” is listed as lying to the FBI. Flynn isn’t being impeached.
That will never happen.

It is insane on how they are acting but I do believe much of it has to do with many of these corruptocrats saving their own necks from the noose. The more the corruption is exposed, the more the noose tightens, the more insane they get.

It has nothing to do with law. It has to do with creating an appearance of questionable capacity of the Trump administration for votes in the midterm.
