I think the whole thing should be shut down, it has served no good purpose.

It served a very *bad* purpose: to funnel money to Leftist activist groups.

“Warren built a political battleship, and Cordray deployed it. The bureau’s powerful media division dictated policy to its regulatory professionals and relentlessly exaggerated the agency’s achievements in daily press releases and social-media posts. Political operatives used the CFPB’s super-independence to stonewall congressional subpoenas and hide unethical investigation tactics, internal discrimination problems, and other inconvenient facts.

Republican critics were dismissed as Wall Street sycophants. Meanwhile, millions of dollars were diverted from the CFPB to Democratic allies. From 2014 to 2017, the bureau paid $11 million a year to rent office space in an Obama fundraiser’s building. The Dodd-Frank Act allowed the CFPB to send the civil money penalties collected in its enforcement actions to a trustee of its choice, who, after taking a healthy cut, distributed the funds to ostensible victims in unrelated matters. The maneuver both enriched Democratic trustees and transformed fines extracted from defenseless businesses based on their deep pockets rather than actual consumer harm into “over $12 billion in damages returned to 29 million injured consumers.” To spread such propaganda, the bureau paid over $43 million to GMMB, the liberal advocacy group that created ads for the Obama and Hillary Clinton presidential campaigns.”

And the LA Times broke the story on the Wells Fargo fiasco. The agency just went by their report, and collected fines, again for themselves and their progressive causes.

I guess they didn’t think about that. It worked for filing a suit for refugees in a state that doesn’t have any refugees. Judges making law for all the land.

Over all, it has been another bad day for our anti-American socialist Democrat party enemy.

- One of their socialist brothers (rocket man) just had to launch another missile, which was intentionally landed near the Japanese coast, and proved beyond a shadow of doubt, their kindred socialist buddy could hit anything in the US, further destroying Obama foreign policy talking points, and further blowing up the never Trump deep state intel narrative, being we had another year.

- A judge ruled in favor of the Trump executive branch regarding the CFPB, which was deliberately designed to absolutely rip up and supersede the US Constitution, while keeping representative government, the GOP, and conservative led government from being able to stop it!

- Trump was successful in getting the DemoNazi’s to stupidly chase the bright light of “Pocahontas”, ALL DAY LONG, and focusing on the totally dishonest rip-off artist of Elizabeth Warren, with a simple short phrase out of his mouth!

- And whether we agree or not, the GOP leadership met with Trump, and showed reciprocal solidarity with the Trump tax plan.

- And while it really needs to correct, consolidate, and shake out weaker traders, ALL indexes were up hard today, to the disdain of Democrats who still say it has nothing to do with the notion of reduced taxation and Trump.

I probably missed something, but overall, a good day!

The fact a judge looks to the Constitution and the law will drive liberals craze. Sen Warren is already foaming at the mouth.

Timothy. There you go.

So good to see a judge hand down a sane verdict.

“The fact a judge looks to the Constitution and the law will drive liberals craze. Sen Warren is already foaming at the mouth.”

I’m doing a bit of foaming myself. In the past few days I’ve learned that this organization exists, that it is staffed exclusively by XlinBama filth, that they levy fines on private companies for malignant reasons, and that the monies collected are not deposited to the treasury, but funneled to FOE (forces of evil) organizations.

Am I the only one who thinks this is infuriating, and very possibly criminal? Is it just me?

Isnt it funny how democrat nominees get bipartisan confirmation almost every time and yet most Republican nominees barely can get the votes? Why do we play by gentleman’s rules when our opponents street fight?

“Why do we play by gentleman’s rules when our opponents street fight?”

I used to attribute that to Republican stupidity.

President Trump has shown me that the real reason is that the Republicans are members in good standing of our irredeemably corrupt and depraved political class.

.
The courts have zero authority over the actions of the president nor The Congress.

The only cross branch authority is that of the congress to modify the function and powers of the courts.
