WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. district court on Tuesday denied a temporary restraining order to prevent President Donald Trump from naming an interim director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
On Tuesday, Judge Timothy Kelly said the agency was part of the executive branch and he saw nothing in the law that prevented budget director Mick Mulvaney from holding the two positions.

Funny part about all of this is if the libs won, they would just hand down the leadership of this position from lib to lib. That wasn’t going to happen and the court recognized that.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the judge is overturned on appeal.
The appeal would go to the DC Circuit Appeal Court that is HEAVILY stacked with Obama/Reid judges.

By that time hopefully Trump will have his nominee in place. I think the whole thing should be shut down, it has served no good purpose.
