The lawyer for President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn met Monday morning with members of special counsel Robert Mueller’s team, the latest indication that both sides are discussing a possible plea deal, ABC News has learned.
Trump’s legal team confirmed late last week that Flynn’s attorney Robert Kelner alerted them that he could no longer engage in privileged discussions about defense strategy in the case, a sign Flynn is preparing to negotiate with prosecutors over a deal that could include Flynn’s testimony against the president or senior White House officials.
That process would typically include a series of off-the-record discussions in which prosecutors lay out in detail for Flynn and his lawyers the fruits of their investigation into his activities. Prosecutors would also provide Flynn an opportunity to offer what’s called a proffer, detailing what information, if any, he has that could implicate others in wrongdoing.
When reached Monday, Kelner declined to comment on the nature of his morning visit to Mueller’s offices in Washington, D.C.

No, those were done to PROTECT the principal figures.
But what is that really going to mean, since all sorts of things regarding the uranium deal and all sorts of other nonsense that went on concerning Mueller and the Dems way before Trump even announced his candidacy are now exposed? What a stupid spectacle all of this is.
I wonder how far a conspiracy might go? For instance, could Mueller make a deal with Flynn for immunity in exchange for totally constructed and false testimony to implicate Trump. That testimony would then be backed up with false documentation created by Mueller’s team of win at any cost attorneys?
It is a stupid spectacle.
It probably means that this is the witch hunt that Trump said it was and they are going to use Flynn to implicate the President.
It also probably means all the Uranium One stuff gets swept under the rug.
All Flynn has to say is that he asked trump to get comey off his back and it will open a floodgate

It is not unusual at all, and is a general rule, that when someone is being indicted by a prosecutor, the lawyers on both sides get together. It probably is, in fact, a plea deal, unassociated with President Trump.
