The U.S. Constitution lists six goals. The intent to form a more perfect union is undermined by our current political divisiveness. The other five are crippled by our failure to address global warming:
1. Establish justice: Ethnic minorities and the poor suffer most from pollution caused by mining, refining and burning carbon fuels, and are most hurt by global warming they increasingly cause.
2. Ensure domestic tranquility: Multiple studies show that heat increases violence by both individuals and quarreling groups.
3. Provide for the common defense: As early as 2003, the military recognized the dangers climate change poses to world stability, which make their job harder.
4. Promote the general welfare: Rising expenses to adapt to future climate change and repair its damage lessen our welfare, as do all the potential harms cited above.
5. Secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity: The damage caused by rising temperatures that makes weather events more powerful means a loss of liberty for a growing number of Americans by destroying their homes, draining their finances and endangering their lives.
In summary, by ignoring global warming our legislators fail to provide protections that our Constitution promised current and future generations.

Actually, the waste of time and capital spent solving a fake and phony issue is what is harming the poor and also enhancing inequality. And apparently leftist could care less.
My understanding is that The Preamble only carries legal weight in supporting enumerated powers. The courts are NOT supportive (in general) of using the Preamble to expand powers - or, as I once read, you cannot reduce the American experiment to absolute despotism by virtue of the phrase “promote the general welfare.”
The libs think the constitution mentions abortion but not arms, and says anything Trump does is illegal.
This is quite logical. Considering the average temperature in Gainesville Florida is significantly higher than say Chicago Illinois there should be a significantly higher rate of violence in Gainesville. Hmm, I wonder how many more murders there were in Florida than Illinois this past weekend?
Some of us have awaken to the clear fact that “Climate Change” scam is nothing more than a Communist scheme concocted back in the early 90’s in order to convince Western Democracies (and Capitalists economies) to destroy the life blood of their economic engine (i.e. low cost ENERGY) in order to create havoc and make it easier to implement their Socialists’ agenda! It’s sad that most, including so called “Conservative” intellectuals, won’t even admit this obvious fact!

Unfortunately, we now have two generations that were fed the poison milk of Marxism from an early age, continuing on to their infantile "adulthood" in their parents' home or on government "welfare" payments. They will swallow all this crap uncritically, without even a mere thought as to why a sovereign nation organized under a Constitution should surrender its sovereignty to global Marxism in the name of "climate change".
