Is the Creator controlled by the fact of accretion?
Though I’m not sure of this link. Checking further...
Asking the stupid Bible question:
If God destroyed the whole earth with a flood and the only surviving “family” was Noah’s, what’s the point of Adam and Eve mitochondrial DNA or Y-chromosome? Only Noah’s family was left after the flood to repopulate the earth, right? So wouldn’t this be Noah and Naamah’s lineage we’re talking about and not necessarily Adam and Eve’s? Or is the flood just a choke point in the DNA history?
Ok at first glance that link does look iffy. Still, are you saying Abraham erred marrying his half-sister? And the age of accountability has definitely changed more than once.
Of course not. The creator created accretion to create
Creator created accrection to creat.
Really? Who said? What is evidence?
Sure it's possible. Just that the models of stellar/planetary formation where matter coalesces in a single rotating gas cloud suggest otherwise. Earth could certainly have been formed elsewhere and then gravitationally captured by the sun...although I don't know that geology supports that idea.
The fourth day in Genesis is interestingly challenging and also coy...talking about not the sun and the moon directly but "the two great lights". And of course it's been wondered since ancient times what "day" meant in the previous 3 days without a sun. Some have speculated that the sun moon and stars were created earlier but their light was not visible from earth or only reached here in a diffuse way. That when the first plants caused the great Oxygen Catastrophe, the atmosphere went from a cloudy Venus-like one to a clear one where you could actually see the heavenly bodies. That's one theory anyway.
So Genesis's 4th day would be sorta like you'd say "make me some light in here", and you don't expect a person to build a bulb from scratch.
Well, just look around....... it’s there to see with your own eyes.
Of course it might be you might need to read a little to understand what you are actually seeing
Yes, I think you’re right about Noah and the y-chromosome. He would be the choke point, unless there’s any ground for saying the flood was not anthropologically universal (i.e. that it didn’t involve the destruction of all mankind). That seems to fly in the face of common interpretation though.
Mitochondrial DNA, as someone pointed out earlier, would be from Noah’s daughters-in-law, so there is a possibility of much greater genetic variation.
Your answer is thought provoking. Thanks.
References for reading?
Oh come now......
Most any serious work on cosmology will provide the basics of how gravity attracts the particles in the galaxy and the universe
A reference other than your opinion if you could.
I will not pander to your laziness. Your ignorance is obviously the result of laziness
Lazy? Or outing BuxxShxxxers?
