Six Companies Won’t Advertise On ‘Hannity’ After Roy Moore Interview
Deadline ^

Posted on 11/12/2017 9:38:40 PM PST by TigerClaws

Six companies have either pulled ads or publicly distanced themselves from Fox News’ Hannity after the host was criticized for an interview with Republican Alabama Senate candidate and accused child molester Roy Moore.

RelatedFox News Breached UK Impartiality Rules; ITV & Virgin Media In Carriage Row - Global Briefs Though most of the non-advertisers didn’t give specific reasons for their absence from Hannity, their decisions were disclosed in responses to complaints about Sean Hannity’s radio interview with Moore Thursday. E*Trade, Realtor.com, Eloquii, 23andme, Nature’s Bounty and Keurig all responded on Twitter to the complaints.

In response to a query from Angelo Carusone of the watchdog group Media Matters, coffeemaker company Keurig responded, in part, “We worked with our media partner and FOX news to stop our ad from airing during the Sean Hannity Show.”

Media Matters. Having Moore on to defend himself is somehow out of bounds? What about Hillary defending Bill Clinton?

They got Bill O’Reilly.

Hannity has moved up to the Left’s prime target now. He was pro-Trump fairly early on - let Trump speak on his show without acting like an idiot like the rest.

Some story earlier today said “Hannity’s fans” were mad at him about the Moore interview. Ha! Media Matters, paid for protestors and online trolls.

Maybe Media Matters is farming the trolling online out to Macedonian content farms? The Russians?

A comment on 23andme - a friend who is an MD has a nephew working for them and it’s an open secret that they are partially funded by Google who is very interested in adding DNA information to their immense database of everything in the world. Think “big data”...eventually they will be able to tell a prospective employer how well others having similar genetics have performed in jobs like the one you are applying for. Same with the matchmaking services...if you have a persons DNA what else is there?

Aren’t twitter boycott threats already exposed as Leftwing bots run from a few libs’ (less than a dozen) basements?

Let’s make them pay.

Which advertisers stayed strong?

It’s really disgusting because Sean provided a place for Moore to respond to these charges. If these companies wish to do business in America, they should respect the right of anyone to defend himself, and a free press. These rights are close to the heart of our country. Shame on them for attempting to shoot down a free press.

There is now the #KeurigSmashChallenge.
I thought about stringing mine up by the cord and saying it did itself in, but decided it was non-PC.

O’Reilly was a soft target. Hannity’s a different kettle of fish.

http://www.breitbart.com/video/2017/10/16/rush-limbaugh-twitter-cacophony-crap/

Seriously, you know what Twitter is? Twitter is a cacophony of crap. How in the world did Twitter ever evolve into becoming a news source for supposed mainstream media people? Well, let me tell you how: Because liberals dominate it. They dominate it with bots. The simple explanation of a bot is exactly what I just explained to you. You take an algorithm, you have two or three people, 10 people writing tweets. And those tweets then get sent out by what appears to be thousands and thousands and thousands of people, and the Drive-Bys look at it, “Whoa! Twitter is blowing up!” and they think the nation is outraged.

So the Drive-By Media takes a look at what happens on Twitter — a cacophony of crap populated by leftists and their bots — for this express purpose. The media then tunes in, sees what’s there, and makes a news story out of it, and it is phony, and it’s designed as kind of an insta-poll on public opinion with Twitter as the respondent universe. Well, the only problem with it is that none of it’s scientific and nobody knows what’s real and what’s from bots, and nobody knows who the people really are that are offering all this supposed mock outrage.

Fox News: It’s too late to pull your advertising, we set our schedules days, I mean, weeks in advance.

Advertiser: Well, just don’t show our ad.

FN: We could put a PSA in the spot, but you’d still have to pay for the ad time; perhaps I could get my manager to approve giving you three for one credit on future advertising?

AD: You mean for every three spots we pay for, our ad only appears once in a different time slot that you’ll pick at your own discretion?

FN: Well, he could say no completely, the contract is pretty iron clad, but we want to keep your future business...

“if you have a persons DNA what else is there?”

Quite a lot. Character, education, and all the other intangibles...

Granted, there are plenty of concerns.

I’m wondering if a DA is going to bring charges in the next few days... that is if the above story is true!

Hannity should go to Alabama, invite some of his country music pals, and hold a rally in support of Judge Moore. If he presents his case to the people of Alabama not only will they elect Judge Moore, but these advertizers will see that their actions accomplished nothing.

MAGA and go Hannity!

You are correct. 23 and Me is funded by Google. I knew that in 2009 when I took the test and I look at the results every week. The goal is to live to 120 and the process is to defeat the five diseases in one’s family tree. 23 and Me gave me five specific diseases to defeat. The technology is first class and the big data research is real.

Gattaca (1997)with Uma Thurman shows all the potential abuses with 23 and Me, for sure. Thankfully, rejecting a person due to faulty genes is not very possible, since finding one weak gene in a set of 3,000,000,000 genes not very possible.

Hannity and Moore are patriots and targets for weak leftists.
