Rep. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) couldn't say on Sunday whether there was evidence of collusion during the 2016 election between the campaign for President Donald Trump and Russia.
Schiff appeared on CNN's "State of the Union," where host Jake Tapper asked Schiff if he had evidence of the collusion some have accused the Trump campaign of.
"The big issue, of course, is whether or not there was collusion among members of the Trump campaign or surrounding the Trump campaign, Trump advisers," Tapper said. "Can you say definitively that there was collusion, there were people affiliated with the Trump campaign who were working with Russians to time the release of damaging information about Hillary Clinton that had been hacked either from John Podesta or the DNC?"
"I don't think we can say anything definitively at this point," Schiff said.
So far no one has been able to point to any solid evidence of collusion, despite investigations from the House Intelligence Committee, Senate Intelligence Committee and the FBI.
Yep. The look on Shiff’s face seemed to indicate that he Shaffed in his pants on this one...
Of course he ‘can’t say’. Because there *isn’t any*.

Now, if Schiff will just inform the DC pacing horses, Joe and Mika, in New York. No proof. Joe and Mika belief it’s all a given that evil Trump colluded with the Russians.
The Morning Joe were out of gas this morning, since one leaker at the White House is out by several days, Katie Walsh, their source dried up, and they got nothing from Schiff over the weekend and didn’t cover the events proving Trump doesn’t lie about Obama surveillance. Not a word.

Why wasn’t he asked if there was any ‘definitive’ evidence of DEMOCRATS colluding with the Russians?

Schiff might be a partisan hack but he’s also a former prosecutor ... so I’m sure he knows the legal/criminal implications of what he saw.
