An Alabama candidate for the US Senate is strongly denying allegations that he sexually abused a 14-year-old girl.
Roy Moore, a Republican firebrand, said claims that he preyed on a teenager while he was a 32-year-old prosecutor were "completely false".
Leigh Corfman and three other women say Mr Moore made sexual advances on them when they were between the ages of 14 and 18, the Washington Post reports.
The top Senate Republican said Mr Moore must step aside if the claims are true.
Mr Moore, who is now 70, said in a statement to the Post: "These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the Washington Post on this campaign."
The Christian conservative's team said in another statement about the allegations, "this garbage is the very definition of fake news and intentional defamation".
"Judge Roy Moore has endured the most outlandish attacks on any candidate in the modern political arena, but this story in today's Washington Post alleging sexual impropriety takes the cake," its statement added.

Which will greatly and unfairly diminish and disparage the trauma of the women (and men) who actually have been sexually assaulted.

Some slut started to mouth-off how Sean Hannity made some "inappropriate remarks" or made a pass at her, and he responded with "Back off or get a lawyer!".

I'm in the southeast quadrant of JeffCo in the Over-the-Mountain metro-BHM area - majority white, middle/ upper-middle class. I know that Doug Jones campaign is far more funded than Roy Moore's. I am horrified at the number of Doug Jones campaign signs scattered in the yards. In my nook, I have only seen 2 Roy Moore signs with ~50 Doug Jones signs. I suspect that many Moore voters are like the Trump voters - prefer to keep their votes to themselves. At least I hope so. Jones will likely clean up in the 4 largest metro areas = Montgomery, BHM, Huntsville, Mobile.
It’s up to 4 accusers now from an article in the Daily Mail. This woman, a ‘Santa’s Helper’ at a mall who says he approached her when she was 14 and asked her on a date when she was 16, a woman who says she hit on her during a civics class and kissed her, and he dated an 18 year old cheerleader.
Fixed it.
Threaten them with lawsuits.
Alleged “sex crimes” accusations are the new “tool” of the democrats. As the accusation of “racist”, as pertaining to candidates, loses it’s effect, the “Harvey” meme dominating the news has shown dems how effective “sex” accusations can be...so, they’re giving it a “go”.
Moore is posing a threat to the dems in their quest for dominancy, so, “if you can’t beat them at the poles...and “cheating” is not looking too effective, then it’s character assassination is the Alinsky way.
It’s democrat politics all the way.
They’re accusing a 70-year-old man of child molestation...why? Because they’re desperate, that’s why. The man who fought to have the 10 Commandments restored is now accused of this vile crime.
Who is this girl? If she’s 14 NOW, she probably wasn’t even born before Moore became...er...too old.
If this is older, then why wasn’t she squawking BEFORE the election process got this far and Moore rose as a favorite?

Breitbart has the headline, Bezos owned Washington Post; that’s whom I would blame. I think WaPo or Bezos already endorsed Moore’s opponent per reading Breitbart.
