[Look to mid to north Florida....booming there]

I’m looking in SW Florida.... either Tampa or Ft. Myers.

I’m not living landlocked in a state with the most beautiful coastline...

Republicans wil will NJ again, but the tide is just TOO much against them this time...

Just like no R could have won the Presidency in 2008, because of Bush’s horrible second term.

because you are somehow entitled

Entitled? Come on Jo! No one is asking for a Washington DC handout here, for crying out loud. We are talking about not wanting to have even more of our money confiscated via excessive taxation. I am not asking for welfare, and you know it.

You are advocating that Washington essentially gets to tax us more, on the money we are already paying in taxes!

This isn't even remotely a Conservative notion. Are you next going to accuse me of "not wanting to pay my fair share"?

I know you are smarter, and frankly, better than this.

I do agree on the flat tax, but it will never fly, for many reasons (political mostly).

I will say this: if the GOP leadership wanted to divide us geographically, and via class warfare, they did one helluva job.

“The problem in NJ is that the southern and northwest parts of the State are outvoted by the teeming cities of Newark, Jersey City, Elizabeth, etc. in the Northeast part of the State whose citizens could not care less what taxes the rest of you pay, since they are paying something close to nothing and getting a lot in return.”

That pretty much sums it up.

My small Northern NJ town used to be conservative -—— until the influx from NY.

Good attempt, Kim Guadagno.
Heard about the unfortunate news from your state.
Too bad many New Jersey voters wished to pay more taxes.

Corzine was in there too - right before Christie - this guy Murphy sounds a lot like Corzine - big shot at Goldman-Sachs (and Republicans are supposed to be the party of Wall Street) - Corzine got the boot after one term because of corruption - maybe Murph will turn out the same way.....

Polls were right after all. Hell, they called the race for him at 8:01. Pathetic. DeBlasio won too. How that happened I’ll never know. I’ve not met a single person who has ever said anything positive about him. Oh well, 8-10 more years in this state and then I’m outta here.
