I would imagine it was an E-2 or E-3 clerk who obviously needed better supervision and training.

Now we know.
The obvious questions of HOW this sick POS passed background checks has now been answered.

Isn’t this the sort of thing that is SUPPOSED to go on your DD-214? It’s a pretty big omission ....

Good question. And How?
How in the hell did Kelley have a security guard license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety?
To: Bryanw92
The guy was court martialed for assaulting his wife and fracturing his infant stepson’s skull and the Air Force didn’t see fit to post that on a background check database!
Air Force should be tracking how that outrageous omission happened.

That was a tragic and costly omission! Yes it was, and the dude should be reprimanded, but I am wondering if the chump wouldn't have just bought his weapons on the street somewhere?

Yes, perhaps an E-2 or E-3 clerk....but also possibly a resident Air Force Social Justice Warrior who didnt want to see the downtrodden further oppressed.
The Air Force needs to do a thorough AND NON-CORRUPT investigation of this lapse and its cause. And it needs to determine whether there are more lapses. Lives may well depend upon this.
