Who here, at this site, living in a middle to upper middle class and predominantly white neighborhood, have not seen carloads of ghettoites coming into their neighborhoods to get a few bagfuls of that sweet ‘white privilege?
These kids are going to become adults who are desperate for firm ground and common sense. I’m betting that many revolt, and become solid conservatives.

I am sure my wife and I will see white Moanas and black and hispanic Elsas all nights, if we even recognize their characters. Maybe in Berkely the people giving out candy will penalize kids for cultural appropriation and excessive “whiteness”, but here in Texas, no one will care. If anything, a white kid who wants to dress up as Moana is showing color-blind she really is. My little blonde grand-niece loves Moana and I would not be surprised to hear that she dressed up as the character.
Then add a patch across the back of their shirt that says "Happy Hills Psychiatric Hospital.
Because you just dressed your kid up like a full blown nutcase.

I’m glad my parents didn’t think that way. Hallowe’en was one of the happiest and most fun times I recall as a kid. I grew up in a community that was full of elderly people, and they got a big kick out of it too.
It was just good clean fun, and is still, when people take their stupid politics out of it.

Me!!! I see it every stinking year.
My wife and I do, but it does not bother us. The kids are usually polite and are enjoying themselves. There aren't many kids in our neighborhood any more anyway.

I watched the black panther parent of a black kid I grew up with do this until the kid committed suicide at 18.
They constantly scolded him for having white friends and demanded he cut off all ties with the “white world”. They constantly told him that the world thought he was worthless for being black.
To us, a bunch of 10 year olds, he was a great kid. Good looking, smart, athletic, nice as can be. Great guy. Dead at 18. Ruined by his black racist parents.
Let the kids dress up as their lesbian moms.
And there you go. Walk on eggs because you might offend a Polynesian (on the outside chance you might run into one) by dressing as a Polynesian cartoon character, but dress as a real-life murderer and tyrant without any qualms.

Maybe they should all dress up as abortion doctors to promote women’s rights over their own bodies. Would that be too much? Or too little? Should the aborted baby dolls be black or should they be white? What’s a SJW to do?
