Let's see. Five perps, ages 15-17, and a 32-year old father was killed.

Not much. But they had to find that rock, then walk to the overpass. It probably wasn’t spontaneous.
Again, stories from my high school teaching career. I’m in my classroom, and I hear two kids yelling, then fighting, in the hallway because one kid happened to brush up against the other. Spontaneous violence. Before walking out into the hallway I know it’s probably going to be two black kids.
Some kid (race doesn’t matter) comes up to me and says someone poured milk into his locker. That’s a common way of harassing someone, as the milk will spoil, then start to stink.
Before looking at the security cameras (assuming they are working), I know it’s probably going to be a white kid at fault.
There are exceptions to all this, of course.
I was out jogging (back when I could) and came upon an incident where a woman driver was hit in the face with an egg.
Kids driving the opposite direction threw it, it went through the open window, and hit her right next to the eye. Pieces went into her eye, but I don't think she had major damage. An inch over and she would have lost the eye and crashed.
Assuming the two cars and the egg each were going 40 mi/h, the closing speed of the woman and the egg would be 120 mi/h.
Most likely white kids in that neighborhood.
I knew this sounded like a white kid crime. Black kids commit crimes to get some sort of payout. This is not their style.
These boys already have other prisoners drooling. They will all have protection in prison, for a price.
I was driving down the freeway and had a couple of teens drop a strawberry shake off the overpass on me. Hit my windshield at eye level, on the driver’s side. Scared me no end, and completely obscured my vision as I’m traveling about 75 MPH. It completely covered the entire windshield. Ever try to get melted ice cream off your windshield in under a second while braking, trying to stay in my lane, praying, squirting the wiper spray, etc.? I was SO grateful it wasn’t rush hour and there weren’t a lot of other cars around me. God was SO good to me. I’m sure they thought it was super funny. It could have been really ugly.
They had dropped other rocks on the expressway and luckily missed. They also found other rocks they had gathered up in the vicinity. How devastating for the family of this young man.
I believe the guy on the top left was the actual thrower of the rock.

Drop big rocks on All of them from 40’ until they are ALL DEAD! That way they might have some clue of the pain they inflicted on an innocent Man.
Life sentences just mean the scumbags get 3 hots/cots/medical/internet/ etc at the cost of Tax Payers.

Years ago on I-94 I was with a buddy in his truck driving thru Detroit when I saw a kid on the overpass throw a brick or something and it hit the vehicle behind us.........That was before they enclosed the overpasses.
Doubt it will happen tho since they will likely be charged as minors.........

So was I. I didn’t think there WERE any white kids in Flint. I had a white cousin who was murdered there some years back.

The brain hasn’t fully developed at age 18 - that’s why we all did stupid stuff as kids. (Well - I surely did, and thank goodness I never killed anybody or killed myself.) We would throw small crab apples (1/2 - inch diameter at cars).
Every once in awhile the guy would get out and chase us and we would run through the backyards to get away. Never gave the thought that the guy could just pull a gun and shoot us.
I’m guessing though that even as wild and stupid as I was, I could see the more obvious dangers of dropping 10 pound rocks onto cars as opposed to crab apples or snowballs.
Hmm - snowballs. A friend came racing down our street while we were playing street hockey on the snowy/icy road. We moved to the side and threw snowballs at him. Not sure if it was the snowballs or his speed, but he missed the turn at the end of the road and launched himself off the snow-plow ridge and went between a large tree and a light pole - about 2 feet to either side and he would have hit them. We’re lucky he didn’t die. After we got done being freaked out, we hurriedly pushed his car off the snow covered lawn and he left. Of course later when we saw him we were all talking about how cool it was - like a movie, launching off the ramp, etc.
Without painkillers or anesthesia.
End their useless lives, today.
