With advanced degrees in engineering, I confess to believing whole-heatedly in the scientific method for topics to which it can apply. I'll add that caveat as a means of setting aside discussions of religion (Christianity, Islam, global warming, etc.).

What this person is suggesting, this “much needed anti-science, antiracist, feminist approach to knowledge production.”, rings very similar to Stalinist-era Soviet politically correct "science" or the Margaret Sanger - Nazi school of genetics. It has nothing to do with truth. It has everything to do with justifying a person's choices and behaviors.
