Every entrepreneur has successes and failures. I see the technological advances produced by Musk's different endeavors with my own eyes, and being a techno-geek, I understand the long-term boost they will give to the US and the world. I suspect posterity will remember Musk for SpaceX more than anything else.

Well, I did do a little more than that. I did provide you with a link to an article that showed you where Musk's Solar City company, a company which was subsidized to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars, and which never, ever made a profit, was somehow able to come up with $3 million dollars to donate to political candidates that supported the idea of providing more subsidies to companies in the "green energy" field (like Solar City.) A perfect example of a corrupt "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" arrangement and yet you say I've done nothing but bitch? Yep, your eyes are firmly glued shut. Enjoy your ignorance - I hear it can be blissful.

I’m still waiting to hear why only a liberal would buy electric car. And I’m still waiting to hear how Elon Musk really hasnt accomplished that much.

I live in the middle of Ohio. There is a very low likelihood I will have to evacuate to anywhere. I can afford a Tesla, and based on driving one and reading the reviews and the experiences of other customers, it’s a fantastic vehicle. It has the limitations any electric car would regarding range, but given my driving habits, those are not important to me. So tell me again why I would have to be a liberal to even consider buying one.

When I buy a car, I don’t consider evacuation. In 50+ years I’ve never had to, and in the area I live no one has ever had to. So for me, that reason is akin to someone living in Miami rejecting a car model because the heater wasn’t very strong.

I have no idea where you live, but I do know for sure that at some point in the next 3 or 4 years you will most assuredly have to evacuate, and if you’re unlucky enough to be in your electric coffin, there is a strong chance that it will cost you your life.

Really? Evacuate from what? There aren’t hurricanes in the Midwest. I’m nowhere near a body of water. You don’t evacuate during a tornado watch. Please enlighten me. What is this pending threat that will require an unprecedented evacuation? You’re sounding more and more paranoid and delusional.
