When I buy a car, I don’t consider evacuation. In 50+ years I’ve never had to, and in the area I live no one has ever had to. So for me, that reason is akin to someone living in Miami rejecting a car model because the heater wasn’t very strong.

I have no idea where you live, but I do know for sure that at some point in the next 3 or 4 years you will most assuredly have to evacuate, and if you’re unlucky enough to be in your electric coffin, there is a strong chance that it will cost you your life.
