The IRS reports eventually to POTUS. Time for Trump to take this in hand.

They have and use fully automatic weapons. That likely confirms their role as enforcers of some sort.

The best way to get a bad law repealed is to enforce it strictly.

Yes, but if this is part of the plan to win by enforcing Obamacare to the letter and using the people’s outrage (leveraging the 2018 midterms) to finally get rid of this monstrosity, I support it.

Also, perhaps this is a backdoor method to try and stop the illegals/scammers from getting ill-gotten refunds? Maybe a common “error” in those filings is the proof of insurance portion? Previously, the IRS/Obama would let them pass but under Trump, that leakage of $$$ will stop...or at least slow?

Talk about unconstitutional. They think they are the Obamacare police.

According to the law as passed by Congress and upheld by the USSC (thanks to John Roberts...) the IRS *is* the Obamacare police.

They're doing exactly what the law requires them to do and unless Obamacare is REPEALED by Congress and signed by President Trump this is going to continue.

That's just the fact.

The (dis)honorable John Roberts deemed it a tax, and the IRS is authorized by law to collect it. We can thank him for this mess.

The FAIRTAX will eliminate 99% of the IRS!!!

Under the FAIR TAX, the present IRS would be disbanded and a new, much smaller FAIR TAX collection office would be established directly under the Secretary of Treasury. Since this new agency will NOT have to deal with 100 million individual taxpayers and 20 million businesses but only with the 45 to 50 state collection agencies, the entire federal end could be run by a few hundred folks. It might take perhaps 200 field agents (4 per state) to work with the state revenue offices to be certain they aren’t cooking the books or playing games with the fed’s piece of the action + additional for those non‑sales tax states foolhardy enough to allow the feds to have their way with their businessmen. Perhaps another 100 more in the main office to run the computers and post deposits, make coffee, run out for the donuts, etc.

Folks, we’re talking a much smaller federal collection effort than is now required by the present unfair & insane income tax!

*NO MORE PRESUMPTION OF GUILT IN THOSE IRS CONFRONTATIONS;

*NO MORE WASTED 10.2 BILLION COMPLIANCE RELATED MAN HOURS;

*NO MORE WASTED APPROX. $ SIX HUNDRED BILLION COMPLIANCE RELATED COSTS;

*NO MORE $200 BILLION++ ANNUAL UNDERGROUND ECONOMY. THE COCAINE DEALER, AND OTHERS WHO NOW LARGELY ESCAPE THE CURRENT TAX SYSTEM WILL PAY TAXES EACH AND EVERY TIME THEY TAKE THEIR LARGELY CASH REVENUES DOWN TO BUY THAT NEW ROLEX, ROLLS OR YACHT. Because of that $200 billion plus lost revenue, those of us stupid enough to file and pay must make up the shortfall!

Income tax itself is unconstitutional.

The IRS has no business even existing.

There was an Executive Order on January 20, 2017 re: Obamacare. Apparently, it has no teeth. I'm quoting Sec 2 and the caveat at the bottom of the Order:

"Sec. 2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Secretary of Health and Human Services (Secretary) and the heads of all other executive departments and agencies (agencies) with authorities and responsibilities under the Act shall exercise all authority and discretion available to them to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation of any provision or requirement of the Act that would impose a fiscal burden on any State or a cost, fee, tax, penalty, or regulatory burden on individuals, families, healthcare providers, health insurers, patients, recipients of healthcare services, purchasers of health insurance, or makers of medical devices, products, or medications.

(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.
