As a part time West Palm Beach resident who was without power for 6 days and had a mountain of debris mostly from my neighbors’ trees, I can’t say I have much sympathy. Maybe they should put some more restrictions on firearms. Yep that should help.

I’ll be watching this one and interested in how their government will respond since they’re so critical of our response.
Cat 3 now, 115 MPH winds. WEIRD to see it head north towards Europe - they’re supposed to hit Florida or some other country in the Caribbean, like Puerto Rico.
80 MPH at landfall? I don’t suppose it has occurred to anyone in the UK to stock up on lager and crisps, hunker down and put some Chris Ardoin or Michael Doucet on the record machine.
Considering how the British papers covered our hurricane I can’t feel any sympathy for them.
