A gunman turned a Las Vegas concert into a killing field Sunday night, murdering at least 50 people and injuring more than 200 others.

The suspect was identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock and authorities said they were "confident" Paddock's roomate, Marilou Danley, had been located. Officials previously described Danley as a person of interest.

The gunman, who fired down on the concert from a room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, was killed by police.

FOX juzt reported that it was a “modified” AR15. We’ll have to wait and see what that means. This guy was a multi-millionaire apparently and was a non-felon. He could have obtained anything he wanted. anything.

Have you heard anything else on a possible ANTIFA connection to the Las Vegas shooting?

really? why not just kill yourself first!

No kidding. I never can understand why, for example, a guy kills his entire family, then commits suicide. If you want to kill yourself, by all means...but don't take out a family or dozens of innocent people on your way out.

A lot of the deaths and injuries may be due to stampeding. This has not even been discussed yet, though my wife told me that you can hear people in some of the videos yelling that they are worried they are going to get stampeded.

That must be true. A huge crowd, with people panicking and even unable (from what I understand) to get out freely.

Reporter to Julie: “How did that make you feel?”

Have a nice “beauty” sleep on your so rudely interrupted birthday.

I guess you are being sarcastic. I never did anything to you, so I am not sure what I did to deserve such a response.

I feel very sad and upset at what happened to dozens and hundreds of innocent people.

Please don't post to me again.

Forgive me if I am misunderstanding you.

My birthday is October 1st. Happy birthday to us both. Another day of infamy, thanks to this assassin.

And to you too, FRiend. :) Another birthday...no fun getting older, but as my recently-deceased father would always say, "It's better than the alternative."

It is heartbreaking that so many Americans will not be able to celebrate another birthday.

This was a real nightmare and I think he must have had help. Prayers for the victims and their families.

Above is an article on having a 9-11 birthday. Many are out there and it may help.

I have a 9-11 birthday, and sadly (for our country) it has become normal again. For a couple of years I would always get a raised eyebrow or a comment. It’s been awhile now.

Although I do use it as a reminder whenever I have to give it to someone. “Never Forget”.

“Huh? Oh - yeah.”
