A gunman turned a Las Vegas concert into a killing field Sunday night, murdering at least 50 people and injuring more than 200 others.
The suspect was identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock and authorities said they were "confident" Paddock's roomate, Marilou Danley, had been located. Officials previously described Danley as a person of interest.

Authorities said one on-duty officer was in critical condition and another was wounded in the shooting. Two off-duty police officers attending the concert were killed.
The gunman, who fired down on the concert from a room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, was killed by police.

Correction, not his wife, his “roomate”. There was speculation that her (ex?) husband was the shooter, but it seems not the case.
My guess is they are hard-core leftists. The woman’s (ex?) husband is.
Has anyone heard any information on how many of those deaths may have been called by stampeding rather than gunshots.

yes her husband is but he’s not implicated in this massacre and she was with a “roommate” who has been identified as the shooter and is dead. Last name Paddock.

Sad. I’m seeing a lot of reports of people cancelling trips to Vegas on Twitter and elsewhere. I can’t blame them; the city can no longer sell itself as a fun, relatively-safe place for visitors. Those days are over now.
Either that or from what I have read a convert to Islam. Even another thread ISIS was said to have warned LV back in May.

there is not credible source about the woman or shooter being a convert to Islam and the article posted in the FR thread deleted that reference.
Her husband is a lefty but he’s not tied to this massacre at this point. Sounds like she was living with someone else other than her husband and that guy is the shooter/killer.
