What women in Saudi Arabia cannot do:
-- Marry, divorce, travel, get a job or have elective surgery without permission from their male guardians. Women still are beholden to restrictive guardianship lawsthat govern nearly every aspect of their lives. In cases where a woman's father is deceased or absent, her husband, a male relative, brother, or in some cases, even a son, must give his approval before a woman can obtain often basic entitlements.
-- Mix freely with members of the opposite sex. Some exceptions include hospitals, banks and medical colleges. In 2013 authorities ordered shops that employ both men and women to build "separation walls" to enforce rules preventing the sexes from mixing together.
...
-- Conduct certain business without a male sponsor. Women wanting to open their own business often have to call on at least two men who can testify to her character before she can be granted a loan or a license.
-- Retain custody of their children in a divorce after they reach the age of seven for boys and nine for girls.
-- Apply for a national identification card or passport without the permission of a male guardian.
-- Eat at restaurants that don't have a separate designated family section. Most restaurants have a "family" section with a divider that separates families from dining near all-male parties. Women are also required to use a separate entrance to the men. It is usually a side door.
-- The legal position in Saudi Arabia of a woman is equal to that of a minor...
-- Receive an equal inheritance. Under Sharia inheritance laws, daughters receive half what is awarded to their brothers. Critics say this is due to a misinterpretation of Islamic laws, sometimes sending women into poverty because they are left out of their fathers' wills.

and it has nothing to do with Religion ,it’s Slavery

I’ve seen pictures of “gender apartheid” from Saudi. I can’t find them now, but have seen how places such as Starbucks had a separate female section.
Imagine the rights of the non-Saudi slaves in SA...
I’ve had some discussions with some people, and they say that Christianity doesn’t give equal rights to women. I’m no Bible scholar, so can’t say, but these people claim that the Bible indicates that women are to be helpmates or underlings to their husbands, etc. and their conclusion is that Christianity places women in a 2nd class status, as Islam does.
I’m not sure I follow the “moral equivalency” here, but that’s what I was told. Again, I’m no Bible scholar so can’t say anything with authority about what Scripture says about the place of women.
But now they can be the taxi driver for their smelly menfolk. Yup, you’ve come a long way baby.
Can they take a Knee at a Football Game during the National Anthem?
...and the feminazis in the US are silent.
Show them this list — and ask for the Christian anaologs.
Not quite so. Paraphrasing it says “wives submit to husbands, husbands submit to wives.....” since in those days wives were property the only one called on to change is the husband. similar language re sons, fathers, slaves and masters follows.
Why should I care?
Maybe they can have another women’s march led by another sharia supporter. Women have it so good there!
And, such people should not be allowed to live in America.
. . . and I’m pretty sure they can’t streak at sports events.
9 times out of 10 they will site the old testament which Christianity isn’t based on other then the 10 commandments.
Good afternoon.
“9 times of 10 they will site the old testament which Christianity isnt based on other then the 10 commandments.”
I’m not so sure about that. If we didn’t have all of the Old testament’s prophecies we wouldn’t have known who the Christ was is. And other predicted events that have happened.
Thanks for listening.

I wasn’t planning to write a book on that statement. yes. the old testament is a historical record though it’s not part of the belief other then the 10 commandments.
