Sorry, you can't have it both ways. They can't be solely focused on the football game (which is what you pay them to do), while also focusing on how to make a political statement.
As I believe their QB Roethlisberger, explained, they actually thought about HOW they would appear "unified," actually considered and maybe even voted upon several options. All that locker room discussion clearly took them away from preparing from the task at hand, and the wanna-be AFC champions lost to a very mediocre Bears team.

When it comes to our Nations Flag and Anthem...there is no neutral safe zone. You are either standing for it or not....there is no middle ground!

When 98% of Stadium costs are paid for on the backs of working middle class TAXPAYERS - AND Elite Companies name the place for a damn 2% kicked in, THE NFL prices tickets so the only people who can afford decent seats are the DAMN EFFING LIBERAL ELITES.
