With Halloween fast approaching, costumes are quickly filling the racks. And one costume, in particular, is under fire. A U.S. Border Patrol get-up has generated outrage on social media in the wake of President Donald Trumps termination of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA), among other controversial comments hes made regarding the border between the United States and Mexico.
The costume from Spirit Halloween Superstores features a military green t-shirt that reads Agent Wall and Border Patrol. ABorder Patrol hat can be purchased, in addition to a womens version that reads: Border Babe.
The companys website pitches the item with what some have called tone-deaf words: Keep the border safe today, tomorrow and on Halloween! Let everyone know that you mean business with this border patrol work shirt!
People have taken to social media to share their disapproval of the uniform, which is currently sold out. One user asked the store, Do you have any idea how many lives and families are ruined over that? Another urged shoppers to skip Spirit Halloween this season, writing: This border patrol costume is offensive in every way and normalizes racism.
Spirit Halloween defends the costumewhich they have no plans of discontinuingby saying its all in jest during the presidential news frenzy.

Found my Halloween Costume.
Over illegally invading our sovereign country?
That that?
Self inflicted. No sympathy.
Was that guy one of the Village People?
10 or 20 guys should all buy one and hang around the barrio, Home Depot, ethnic restaurants, courthouses and welfare offices, just for fun.
Best part of this costume is that you can have a bit of fun with it all year long!!
And the problem is?
It did last year too. But you need a buddy in the poncho and bean picking sombrero to really cause a ruckus.
Ola. Soy de la Migra.
Happy Halloween, mi muchachos!
Excellent!
Who knew, citizens have opinions too.
LOL
LOL! "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded."
I want the one with La Migra on the cap.
It’s just a Halloween costume, as many others. What is the big deal?
With their hit song MAGA.
LOL. I got the perfect “bean picker” in mind to accompany me...hehe (gf)

I mean if liberals would just get a sense of humor they might see this as making fun of the wall, but if course they’re miserable hate filled losers.
Going to this site might cause problems- my ublock program said it was blocking 78K requests, and it locked up my Mozilla.
Too lame. I want the ICE uniform.
