Steve Bannon: NFL players should take a knee and 'thank God' Trump is president
Washington Examiner ^ | September 26, 2017 | Caitlin Yilek

Posted on 09/26/2017 12:13:27 PM PDT by Kaslin

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon thinks NFL players should be kneeling to thank God for President Trump rather than protesting during the national anthem.

"If people in this country take a knee and the national football league players want to take a knee, they should take a knee at night, every night, and thank God in heaven Donald J. Trump is president of the United States," Bannon told Fox News on Monday.

"He has saved this country so much grief. He has done such a tremendous job with virtually no help," Bannon continued.

Trump's feud with the NFL stretched into its fifth day, as the president began his day attacking the league's ratings.

He urged the NFL to create a rule to prevent players from taking a knee during the anthem.

"The only way out for them is to set a rule that you can't kneel during our National Anthem!" Trump tweeted Monday.

I've been for Bannon since he appeared on the scene...and never waivered.

This is a good example of Bannon doing more for President Trump while on the outside.

Good call Mr. Bannon.

While these little panty-waists can’t even come up with a valid reason for their antics, Trump is responsible for keeping this nation safe.

What is he doing here? We have thousands of troops on foreign soil providing amazing self-less service to our nation. They can’t say anything from there.

Trump has their back, and he’s saying what most of them would want to say.

I’m so proud to say I support Trump.

This nation is so much more than some NFL malcontent punks who trash everything in sight, rather than take ownership over their own lives and personal behavior.

Black Lives do Matter, and it’s time they took that as seriously as the rest of us. And that’s a fact!

When Bannon said this on Hannity last night, I was clapping. He’s absolutely right.

And, for me, having them standing isn’t enough. Standing with hand over their hearts is proper and the team owners should demand this from the players.

I was upset that Mike Tomlin is a big BLM pusher, and raised money for Hillary. Yhen I saw this, and understood.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh Steelers chairman Dan Rooney has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.

KDKA political editor Jon Delano has learned that, following Clinton’s appearance outside Primanti’s in Market Square late Friday, she visited with Dan, Patricia Rooney and some members of the Rooney family at their North Side home for about 35 minutes.

Sources say that they shared memories of working together when Rooney served as United States Ambassador to Ireland under Clinton, and that he and Mrs. Rooney are delighted to support Clinton for president.

Mike didn’t have a choice. I that slavery?/Sarc.

I love that we have a forum where we can come and share things like that.

Talk about 1,000 words.

Good one.

Too late they’ve been calling me white supremacist / white nationalist for the last year. Do you really think he gives a flying flip? I think he loves it, because he knows it means they’re losing.
