Although perhaps there is no difference any more, the leftists rather than all democrats are anti America. Specifically, I have come to believe that the left and the extreme left are Euro wannabe’s. They have no original thinking beyond looking to Europe for inspiration and guidance.

The same by the way, is true of Canada where the Europeanization is near terminal. Alberta seems to be somewhat resistant to the disease.

You are of course seemingly correct. I had in mind some isolated folks calling themselves Democrats that are old school and have not swilled the leftist kool ade.
I counseled several “democrats” who were mightily confused about the dilemma of voting for the despised hillary when Trump though forbidden, more nearly met their views.
But they also have the idea of seizing control of the USA, destroying it, and remaking in according to their ideology, which would be a totalitarian hellhole.
This is why they want to pack the electorate with Democrat voters: import millions from the Third World and put them on welfare, make voter fraud as easy as possible, give the DACA and other illegal aliens citizenship, overwhelm America with pro-Democrat propaganda, etc.
And unless enough honest Americans get solidly behind President Trump and assure his success, the Democrats' evil, destroy-America strategy could well work.
It has been nearly ten years since Obama pledged to “fundamentally transform” America; the Bolsheviks and their slaves loved the vision of the transformed America, but their dreams will never be realized - it is an illusion. Reality has set in, and they are livid - Obama didn’t buy their gasoline or pay their rent.
In my area, and I suspect across the country, the foreigners imported to replace our permanent underclass are creating buffer zones between them and Americans themselves. Michael Brown had just robbed one of them when he was shot; he probably couldn’t find a white shopkeeper within walking distance.
