Graham: Graham-Cassidy Will Get 50 Republican Votes, Plus ‘A Couple of Democrats’
Breitbart ^ | September 21,2017 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 09/22/2017 7:40:37 AM PDT by Hojczyk

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) predicted that the Graham-Cassidy bill will receive 50 Republican votes and votes from a few Democrats.

Graham said, “I’ll be honest with you, I’ve never been more excited than I am right now. We need 50 votes to get this over the finish line. The president has been working like a tiger. The vice president, Mitch McConnell’s going to give us a vote. … And I can tell you this, if you want money and power out of Washington, you want to end the march to single-payer health care, this is your last, best chance.

This is the biggest change in health care in my lifetime. This is federalism versus socialism. I think we’re going to get 50 Republicans to vote for federalism. And I’ll make a prediction, a couple of Democrats are going to come on board because their state does so well.”

I hope this is not a final destination. I’ll take it as an incremental step toward a full repeal, but I don’t like it enough to consider it a true solution.

It’s never a final destination. That’s what Repukes never seem to understand. Just because this passes doesn’t mean you can’t come back for more. Next time mandates won’t even be on the table so you’re starting from a stronger position. Rand Paul is completely lost in the Senate. The country won’t come back in a day.

The bill will fail and I bet if Moore gets in he’ll be a hard no to bills like this. Not exactly helpful if you ask me (see my previous comment)

Graham is a lot more excited over having something with his name on it than I am

He’s an anal orifice and this is to get him reelected
If the mandatory “ insurance” tax is still there we are still slaves

THIS is not a repeal, and the EXEMPT remain
EXEMPT, when they should be tarred and feathered.

We need to move this rock, and about forty other rocks, some a little, and some a lot. Then, after 2018, we will need to start moving these very same rocks again, and start moving some new ones too.

I want to know who the Democrats are who are going to support this bill. I really doubt it will happen. I am having a tough time coming up with names, maybe Heitkamp, Donnelly, or Tester?

What a “struggle” to push a push a half-baked POS over the finish line! The game should not change, most of them need to be removed from office, and I am only talking about the Republicans.

It's a step in the right direction.

Right, full repeal is simply not possible with this Congress. They need to do this incrementally, and it is a good first step.
