Most likely these agreements are political theater BS that have no legal ramifications.

No, no...they aren’t about _sending_ money anywhere. They are about getting funding from citizens, the UN and other sources, like Soros, et al.

They set up a program and solicit donors after raising taxes and fees on sinful behavior. Of course, they all dip in now and again, but that’s SOP....wink, wink.

They can if they want to.

They are not obligated to.

Let their citizens vote them out of office for it.

That’s fantastic. States Rights and all

No...not really. States don't have the right to enter into treaties or any other international agreements.

[The general movement is towards a culture of lawlessness.]

2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Thank you for quoting 2nd Thess.

Yes, a culture of lawlessness and NWO-isms that awaits the Man of Lawlessness, , the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition, the Antichrist. You can see it building. The Day of the Lord shall not come except that man be revealed.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 King James Version

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The Lawless One (NKJV):

2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 New King James Version

8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

No wonder the whole Obama administration was basically lawless and criminal. They are a shadow of things to come. All the lawlessness of Antifa and BLM are a direct result of their actions.

...Harvey, Irma and now Maria — as well as the wildfires burning across the West Coast as an indication of what could occur if climate change worsens.

So let me get this straight. All we gotta do is send a little leadership, and a couple hundred million dollars of MY money to foriegners, and all those gosh darn hurricanes will go away and no more trees will catch on fire? Do I have that right?

That seems pretty straightforward to me. What's the matter with Trump? Is he the new Hitler or what?

Everybody knows Hitler supported hurricanes and fire JUST LIKE TRUMP!!!

Cut off all Federal funding to these states. American workers will be better off with fewer taxes due to the money saved and liberals will get the punishment they deserve.

These Communist alliance of states want to destroy America's economic place in the world. The Paris climate accord is a strategy to drain America economically and destroy our competitive ability. These states want to use the provisions of the Paris climate accord to justify raising state taxes on all fossil fuels. These taxes will be passed down to their citizens. Here are the states on board with this strategic attack on America:

The Paris Agreement, which was adopted in 2015 by 195 countries, aims to reduce emissions in order to keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius.

And yet there's no proof of global warming, let alone that mankind is causing it and can do anything about it. These people are like cargo cultists.

They're not "defying Trump" they are defying common sense.

Also, I doubt if they are really following the Paris accords. For liberals, saying they are doing a PC thing is sometimes as far as they get.

Excuse me. none of these states is assuming its share of the trillions of dollars that the U.S. is supposed to turn over to the U.N. climate fund. It’s the rip-off that Trump objected to.

Hmmm 34+15 = 49 so we are short one. 34 have "R" Governors, and my guess is 16 or so will want to Take Graham Cassidy and implement Single payer with their block grant money.

Oh goody it won't be but it will be almost fun to see these states flounder towards Chapter 11, ( some are almost their ) as they get his w/ the double whammy of Socialized medicine and self imposed Climate Stupidity. Can we put a wall around Michigan to keep them out when they collapse?

The Justice Department should sue to make sure these states increase their emissions.

Sorry, but this act is unconstitutional. Only the Federal government can enter into a treaty with a foreign nation. That right is exclusive to the Federal government.

I think they're saying they're going to try to meet whatever levels the last administration agreed to.

I don't think they're making a treaty or saying that the treaty and its provisions are valid for the whole country.

It could be that it's all just window dressing for what these states will do -- or more likely, won't do -- anyway.

But calling it treason or nullification or anything like that is most likely overreacting.
