I have a sneaking suspicion he has them on on purpose so they get a chance to air their views. And I also think he sometimes is intentionally ineffective against them. He’ll just sit there and laugh like a hyena
He’s going to sell us out. I hope I’m wrong but I really feel like he’s going to sell us out.
If there is a sell-out, and all we have right now is wild speculation and nothing more, then let’s be clear how it happened. We can rant and rage all we want here, but facts are facts - we ARE at best a slight plurality in America, we are by no means a majority in any way shape or form. More people disagree with our hard-line position on immigration than support it. Any way you cut it...and that will get worse if you start seeing educated, “clean” DACA youths on TV getting arrested at their homes. American media has turned the entire country into bleeding-heart emotional wimps...and that includes most of “our” side.
And then: Trump has to get something done - he can’t be a do nothing President with a do nothing Congress. He’s dead meat if that happens. The REPUBLICAN PARTY plan was to destroy him by doing nothing. The PARTY LEADERS wanted their party back and are pissed as Hell itself that they lost control of their party. The Deep State assault was as much Republican as Obama, the complete failures in Congress are Republican and by plan, the Mueller investigation is Republican as much as Democrat, the attempt to destroy Trump is Republican in origin. Republicans are in league with Hillary and McCain and Romney and all the American Patricians who are pissed that the voters tossed “their betters.”
So Trump knows that job job one has to be gaining accomplishments and while this isn’t in any way ideal, he’s got to pick and choose trading priorities now for things another willing party might want.
He CAN’T get it all because THE REPUBLICAN PARTY is the real enemy here. The Republicans did this when they could have had it all...except the Republicans don’t want what we want...they want to keep fooling the voters by saying they are for things they aren’t for...because the big money making them fat and rich wants something else. And the big money owns them. The Republican Party is the Real enemy here.
You clearly haven’t seen Mr. Carlson in action. He’s brilliant and regularly destroys the lefty saps he brings on. We’ll see how this work out. Trump is a sharp guy, but he’s not the superstar 27D chess player some of you guys think he is. A little bellyaching from the right will hopefully straighten Trump’s path firmly down the conservative path. Anyway, that’s my strategy and I’m sticking to it.
I’ve watched him a bit, and I am impressed about 50% of the time.
The republican Party is a bunch of establishment losers and the democrats are an anti-American establishment bunch of losers. Kind of like two scorpions in a bottle. Who do you choose? We have a majority in both houses and the Republicans and the democrats are thinking they can do nothing and just hope Trump is a one termer and then it’s back to business for both. I will say this thought, that was a shrewd move on trump’s part by going to the Dems and outflanking Ryan and the rest of the GOP.
Also no reason to go balistic over something that hasn’t happened yet.
I guess. I’m just getting tired of the act.
The position Trump is carving out is not enough...
Life is good, MM.
My son posted a video of his one year old playing with balloons at my son’s birthday yesterday.
There’s some good stuff in this world, to paraphrase Sam Gamgee, and it’s worth smiling about.
That’s very nice! Happy Birthday to your son.
Your family has other options to fix the country?
Actually, to leave the country...
Oh. Where have you found that’s better? We may go also
.
#GoodbyeShawn is trending now, something to do with some singer leaving Brazil? I don’t get it.
